• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Soft windshield?

Well, after a few long rides I decided to wipe the bug guts off my Spyder. I sprayed on some Plexus then draped a wet towel over the windshield to make the bugs easier to remove after being baked on in the desert sun. I got almost all of the bugs off after except one sticky spot, so I very...

    Aftermarket air intakes?

Ok, after a lot of reading here, I'm getting conflicting opinions from what I've seen. Can a few of you offer your opinions on the benefits and drawbacks of installing an aftermarket air intake? Things I'm particularly interested in improving on my 2013 RT are MPG (I get about 26.2 currently)...

    gas mileage???

2013 RT SE5 with near 4000 miles on it. I average 26.2 MPG at best using a fuel app to track it. My low fuel light comes on at 100-110 miles. There are no bars showing at all by 125 miles. Then the stress of possibly running out of fuel sets in, even though I could probably make it to 150...

Love my 2013 RT-s want to address some minor issues and opinions wanted please

I suffer from some of the same problems as you on my 2013 RT. And I've also probably spent way too much money try to fix them. Here's what is finally working, even though it's not perfect: - Baja Ron Sway bar stops the rolling and makes riding easier. - Getting the pipes wrapped too care of...

    Today's Ryde OH NO!

I feel your pain. Living nearby I had my Spyder outdoors while at work and a sandstorm blew through. Sand and dirt was everywhere. While at the dealer a week ago getting my frunk fixed they had the body panels off and it looked like someone had thrown a bucket of sand inside the guts of the...

Can we get an update from the people who have tried this? Is it still working as planned?

My Attempt at the Fixing the Horrid Fuel Smell

I wonder if this has anything to do with my abysmal gas mileage. Mine radiates heat and vapors all the time, and all the while I'm imagining nickles and dimes floating away through the air as it does so...

    Windshields?

Hi all. I have a question about the windshield for the 2013 RT. It comes with one that has two holes in the bottom of the shield in front of the bracket, like this: I'm pretty happy with the one I have now, but it's about to get really hot where I live and I'm wondering if switching to...

Oversized Brake Pedal for 2014 RTS

So are they saying it doesn't fit because it interferes with the emergency drop for the floorboards? What other reason would have them say they don't fit? There has to be one...

Oversized Brake Pedal for 2014 RTS

I'm confused. How is it that this oversized pedal can fit and work on the 14 models with OEM floorboards but not the 13 model with the same OEM floorboards?

Stopping people from messing with your spyder

I had a Gorilla 8007 installed on it, but sadly even at it's highest sensitivity setting it doesn't really work well. I can sit on it and rock back and forth and sometimes nothing happens, but if I open and close the rear truck or saddlebags it will usually go off. Disappointing, to say the least.

    Bump skid scratches?

I have some scratches on the Spyderpops bump skid. Not on the bottom, but on the top where the dealership scratched it up a bit by trying to put it back on upside down. I didn't notice until several days later so I can't really expect them to do anything about it. Anyway, it's deep enough to...

Need help finding a simple part.

Hi folks. Wondering if someone could help me out here. I need a replacement for the blank flat switch cover that sits in the middle of the 5 that control the parking brake, grip heat, fog lights, ect. I've looked for over an hour at parts catalogs now and can't find it, even though I found the...

    Frunk release button?

What I did was open the frunk, then push down the catch latch and hold down the micro switch with my fingers while pressing the frunk button to see if there was any response at all. At first, I felt a feeble wiggle and heard a tiny noise as I did this, but after a couple of tries it actually...

    Frunk release button?

Well it's definitely a mechanical problem. I just went out and messed with it a bit and it doesn't even attempt to release the trunk when the button is pushed. Making a trip back to the dealership tomorrow to get it fixed. I was just there on Wednesday and didn't think to mention it, now I've...
