• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

AIR PANEL REMOVAL FOR AN INSTALL

Remove the clear wind deflectors. Remove the tupperware on the mirror. Give the mirror a sharp upwards rap from the palm of the hand. The mirror should now be loose. Uplug the turn signal wires. Remove the four bolts that hold the mirror base. That bolt under the headlights is a LOT more...

    2013 st-s electronic cruise control

It is very easy to add cruise. I did it for free by modifying the right hand switch. Simply replacing the non-cruise switch assembly with cruise switch assembly will add cruise. Read through this post...

    Oil change

Not hard at all. You need to remove some of the Tupperware. The piece under the engine is the hardest. I modified mine so I don't have to remove it again. It is only hard because you cannot see the push pins very well. Two places to drain oil. Plus the filter. Changing the filter will make...

    STS heat question

Have the side panels been updated? If so you will have an air inlet under the mirror on both sides. It is big enough to almost fit your hand. If you do not have these inlets, the bike will run hot. BRP will change the panels for free. The bike will run much cooler.

    Anyone have a pellet grill?

smokin-it.com I have the #1 and cannot say enough good things about it. Uses any wood and a couple pieces will smoke for eight hours. Great smoke flavor. No pellets to buy.

    Rear sports rack

Mine broke when I hit a small log someone left in the middle of the road. It broke one of the aluminum tabs that holds the pin. I had a Givi top case lightly loaded. The extra mass of the top case broke the small tab. In my opinion, the tabs are way too small for carrying a load. To keep...

    2-cycle. 4-cycle and confusion

I ran two stroke oil in the gas tank of my 911. Of course it wasn't stock. Had a turbo 13B rotary engine. The rotary is a four stroke engine but has trouble getting oil to the apex seals. Mazda just added an oil injector. But most people with high performance rotaries use the two stroke...

    Cruise control

Perhaps I didn't make it clear. But I was answering WA5VHU's question about an RS. The ST doesn't have a part number for just the Cruise Control. This thread details the process for adding cruise for free. I seriously doubt the F3 is different under the plastic...

Fixing the Windshield That Won't Stay Up

Glad it worked for you. You are right. It is not a fun job. But it really isn't that hard. And it is nice not having the windshield fall down.

    10,000 feet

Took the Spyder up to Ski Apache today. It was a LOT cooler at 10,000 feet than home. Bike said it was 107 when I got home. Good news is the gas didn't boil. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fixing the Windshield That Won't Stay Up

The washers go in the hole, under the spring. They make the spring stick out a little farther. I used a total of four, one for each spring. They are about the thickness of a credit card. It has been awhile but if memory serves, you remove four torx head screws (perhaps allen head)from the...
