• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    hindel exhaust

I will say this...after the most recent 'update', my bike has been running a lot more rough. I added the belt tensioner as one fix...have been really adjusting the juice box and it's having a major effect...almost there. I have a 2008 and when I first got it (and the JB), I had to crank the JB...

Louis Powersports is legit...I've ordered parts from them (sport rack and other things) and they have beat everyone elses' prices by a bunch...period!

    hindel exhaust

I've had my hindle for about 3.5 years now...and no, you do not need any silicone. However, the gaskets should be replaced in favor of the honda ones...they are vastly superior and will actually last. I have the juice box and green filter...you'll likely need one or the other if you run the...

A Convertible top/bimini for the Spyder?

Here, I'll take the credit for being a smart-ass. I totally agree with you...why the heck would you want a sunshade on your Spyder as your ride down the road. Get a Smart Car, for Pete's sake...

Madstad, Madstad, Madstad...there is no other option in this discussion...the best shield for any person, hands down. You can go 20, 22, or 24 inches...you can adjust it any which way you want. Talk with Mark or Patty....they are incredibly helpful...

Re-thinking the MC after a close call

Lots of good posts here...I agree that black is the least visible color and with any bike, you want visibility. Get it painted bright yellow or green and you'll be far easier to see....

Another satisfied Spyderpops customer, hot foot solved, runs cooler, mileage up.

First of all, he's a really good guy and knows his stuff. I did have the missing air dam put on some time about but never really saw a difference in heat. Then again, BRP keeps fiddling with the bars so now it's even harder to tell. I like his ingenuity and product line. I would consider the...

that's a funny story...I've never heard that type of stuff but I'd find it really amusing if I did. Glad you took care of the ant issue....

    Driving on military base

WOW that's quite a generalized statement and wrong too. Try getting on Ft. Bragg, Seymour Johnson AFB, Cherry Point MCAS, Camp Lejeune MCB, New River Air Station, Langley AFB, Norfolk Navy Base, without the DoD required attire. You won't make it past the gate, spouse of an officer or not. I've...

    Some HD riders are IDIOTS!!

You're kidding, right? You don't consider 0-60 in 4.5 seconds out of the box as fast? That's fast turtle for you? What vehicle (cage) are you driving that is faster than that? A modified Spyder is likely closer to 4.1 or 4.2... When compared to a busa, yeah, not much is fast...as compared...

    Driving on military base

My wife is active duty army doctor...I have a military ID as her spouse...so, getting on is quite easy (just show that to them) for me. As far as requirements for anything gear goes, I can assure you that they're not enforced. The security doesn't care what you're wearing (provided you're...

Chickened out, bought the JB Pro

You're supposed to shut off the JB before you get your bike worked on...if you don't, then yeah, you're gonna have issues and that COULD void the warranty...just shut the darn thing off when you get there...that's what I do and my dealership is very cool with everything...

    Some HD riders are IDIOTS!!

I ride mainly with HD guys...never an issue. We always have fun. A couple of years ago I rode in Rolling Thunder and left from an area HD dealership...yeah, maybe 500 HDs and me. Funny thing is that every one of them that I met was courteous and interested in the Spyder. In fact, they let me...

Shout Out to Jim and his Belt Tensioner...

This is great information...thank you...I had them put in full synthetic at my last service...(BRP brand, I guess)...I have no idea what the 'thickness' is...is their oil also 10-40, 10-30?? I did notice the increased vibrations after the last service...hard to believe switch from blended oil...

Shout Out to Jim and his Belt Tensioner...

I bought the Belt Tensioner from Jim a little over a month ago and finally got around to installing it (a bit busy my way)...before doing so, I had a few nice conversations with him on the phone. I elicited the help of a HD buddy of mine as I didn't want to miss anything (he's a lot more...
