• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RDL (and other goodies ) on RSS

Thanks Ann! Yeah it was a brutal couple of days! :D My poorly stated joke was in reference to being from Indiana, where this time of year was definitely farkle time, and that I just haven't adjusted yet. Actually it was more guided by Russell's build date than anything else.

Waiting promotes worsening Fever... I bought an old stock 2009 GS seat on EBay for its pan, and sent it (with required riding pictures and personal stats) to Russell. While waiting I made the "mistake" of visiting LaMonster's Garage and wrapmyspyder.com. Pete! It was Sunday! What were you doing...

Well as the Southwest Desert temps plummeted to 60, my Midwest mentality took over and I became very ill, and there's no shot for it...I checked...yep stage 4 Farkle Fever! It started with the simple task of RELOCATING my BATTERY. As anyone with Corbin Bags will attest, you don't want to deal...

    09 GS longer throttle cables?

I DID remove the BRP riser and replaced it with the shorter one in preparation for the 4.5" bar risers.

    09 GS longer throttle cables?

If I recall, I gained some slack by REROUTING the throttle cable over a large wire harness that it was previously underneath. This freed up considerable slack. These Spyders seem to be somewhat randomly built, so this may not apply to yours, but check it out.

    Finding the TJFisher footpeg extensions

This sounds like the ideal answer if he still has them!

    Finding the TJFisher footpeg extensions

Actually, to your point, these, as is, are rotationally adjustable. Rivco makes relocation arms (5", or 7") that moves them further forward and down, with several more adjustable positions. Even without the arms, these provide a small amount of relief from the stock pegs. Thanks for the reply!

    Finding the TJFisher footpeg extensions

Hey Mike! These are for passenger GS/RS. I installed them on my RSS but due to the "altered" peg mount position provided by the Corbin Saddlebag frames, they just weren't in the right place for me.

    Finding the TJFisher footpeg extensions

Great subject I am on the fence right now. My wife had been on short rides around town. Recently she joined me on the St.George rally, which was a long ride for someone who is scared to death of motorcycles in general. She did great except for sore butt and ringing ears. When we returned I...
