• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Great another insurance rate hike.

I should have mentioned, automobile insurance in SK is through a Crown Corp. We can't buy it through private corporations or shop around. We have to buy it as part of our government registration. For our neighbours from the south, it would be like having to buy your basic registration and...

    Great another insurance rate hike.

Not sure what everyone else pays for insurance rates. For me it's about $800 for a driver season of April to October inclusive. That's already with a 20% good driver discount. They are talking about a 73% increase now. http://cbc.sh/qDXjEme

Great advice! Will do. I felt neglectful for not even putting a battery charger on it for the last 3.5 months. I was surprised it had any juice.

So I was reading a couple of posts I searched on here, and felt guilty I wasn't showing my 2012 Spyder RTS any love in the winter months while it was parked in my garage and covered. So yesterday was a beautiful day as far as winter in these parts goes, I decided it would be best if I hooked it...

    FUEL GAUGE OHMS

Thanks for the original answer about the ohms. Can I ask where you found that information out? I have been looking and asking for days and haven't had a straight answer. Excellent advise, btw, about the stepper motor gauges, and excellent explanation. I have used the search engine on this...

    2013 Can-Am Roadster Owner Event

Doesn't matter to me what State they put it in, so long as it is not deep south. That would put it out of range for use mid western Canadian who love to head down to the USA for an event like this. The Canadian one is way far east every year, rather go down to the USA. Better shopping:yes:

QUESTION: SWAPPING OUT FUEL AND TEMPERATURE GUAGE ON RT

The fuel gauge sucks and the temperature gauge is valuable information but not a very good looking or quality gauge. If you swap the temperature gauge for a better temperature gauge and replace the fuel with a volt gauge, will the fuel level still display on the digital display? Or, do both...

    RT gauges and good replacements

Depo gauges Stepper Motor Series. Try these. I have seen them on RT's before, and have used them in other applications. Will put a temp and volt to replace mine. I don't mind having a temp gauge on mine...The fuel gauge sucks, rather have it on the digital display...

Want to increase Gas Tank capacity/Mileage Range - any suggestions?

That's not bad. I usually get about 230 miles in the city, and a little more that 300 on the highway with the cruise control on. I can stretch it out more with some real conservative driving or the speed limit, which doesn't happen too often.

Gun question. To carry or not to carry.

It must be the Canada in me, but I have seen a few guys post about side arms in here. I am just curious why the need to carry? I have to admit, I haven't been in a lot of the USA. Just the north to mid-west from New York to Washington State, which is probably more than most Canadians. I love to...

    Road Kill

White tail, moose, mule deer are always a concern, especially at night, its the little critters at night that come out of the ditch on the highway that scare the :cus: out of me. I had a bad experience with a porcupine I hit with a 300. Quills right through the rad stopped me in my tracks...

That is very very nice. You can still tell the bike is blue. I like it! Saved it on my computer for some ideas to use in the spring. Thanks for the post.

    Spyder Wraps

I have wondered about that too. I think it is personal choice. For me, I don't want to cover up that much paint. The full wraps look real busy. I am leaning toward some detailing in the spring. Something original. Something that works for me. I say go with what makes you feel good.:joke:
