• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Review: 2020 Ryker 6,000 mile review

Nice to see someone noticed my presence! Just kidding, thanks for the mention SportsterDoc :) SportsterDoc's review is really spot on, and I agree about most of it. My personal take/opinion on the points mentioned already in the thread, and adding some of my own thoughts after 1,5 years with...

Guess someone named Kevin Bliss needed to make a point? Yes, you can flip a Spyder

I just got off work, and I've allready had enough of stupidity seen on the internet for one day! That right there is just mindless pointless intentional damage to a nice looking Spyder! :(

If Honda built a better tryke, would you buy it ??

Thank you for sharing your "hands on" experience with the allready existing Honda Trike. It is interesting! :) Due to a niché market, I can understand why the conversion kits can cost around 18K $. But at the same time, combine that with the purchase price of the bike, and it just isnt an...

If Honda built a better tryke, would you buy it ??

I have been keeping an eye out for any news regarding the Honda Neowing, but so far nothing :( The concept looks cool, and at the right performace as well as price range it could very well be something I'd be interesting in buying. But the lack of buzz makes me suspect that the launch isnt...

    What Flat Tire Prevention Product??

I have a can with goop with me for emergencies, to temporarily fix and inflate the tire :) But I've heard the same as Jomarfl. The tire shop will not be too amused having to clean up the goop! Then on the other hand, getting a tow truck is quite expensive, so even if the tire shop charges you...

    Newbie

Congratulations on a great purchase, and wellcome to the forum. There is quite a lot of good info here, and plenty of people who are eager to help* :) The Ryker is an amazing machine, lots of fun for both zooming around small country roads as well as longer trips. It can be a good idea to...

    Tilting Can-Am Ryker Conversion

Yeah, I totally agree! I looked at the pictures on their website, it is quite hard to tell, but to me it looks like they did change to motorcycle tires in back and front. Curious to see how this thing actually handles, so will be interesting to see some reviews, if this concept actually makes it...

    Video, 165hp offroad Spyder

Ran across a new video on youtube. They put wheels on a ski-doo! Looks like an even amount of fun and danger, haha :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbCXo6fo0-Y

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

One year since I bought my Ryker, so it was time for service! Got around 2500 very enjoyable miles in the seat so far :) Was a nice long trip to the dealer, about 400 miles with an overnight stay at my parents summer house. The riding season is coming to an end in Sweden, but hopefully I will...

Any thoughts on buying a Used RS/GS/ST or a New/Used Ryker?

I own a Ryker. I totally love it, and it is very comfy even for longer rides. The one thing I miss, that the Spyders have is storage space. Just a top case and backpack is a bit limiting. Whenever it comes to the question of which model is best, people tend to push for the model they have...

    Oil change Question

600 miles, the oil should be fresh! I would store it during the winter, and drive the entire next season and not worry a bit! :)

    New Ryker Purchase

Wellcome to a world of fun! :) And keep in mind, it takes time to get used to it, the first 1000 miles is just warming up. The first rides I took I was a bit worried regarding the stability of the bike at higher speeds, but as I gathered miles I have learned how to ride it, and now it is just...

Ryker "Down Shifting" while engine braking

Rob, that's Interesting. Thanks for the explanation, I must admit I have poor knowledge of the actual details of how the CVT works and can be tuned :) I might experience less of the "down shifting" now compared to when I just got the bike, simply because my driving behaviour has changed slighly...

Ryker "Down Shifting" while engine braking

Just a reflection from my side. When my Ryker was brand new last autumn, I noticed this behaviour several times when engine braking to a stop at around 10-20 MPH at flat ground. I've driven around 2000 miles this summer, and only noticed it once in the beginning of the summer. So I have a slight...

    Being seen

I usually ride with the headlights on even during daytime(not just the position lights), when doing so I'd estimate every third car flashes their headlights at me. Doesnt matter if they are annoyed by my headlights or just think I forgot them on, it gives me a confirmation that they have indeed...

New 2020 ryker rally issue - uneven frame?

To be honest, the fit and finish of the Ryker and Spyders are not quite proportionate to the fact they are indeed premium priced vechicles. I saw a post on facebook where someone noticed the rear tire of the Ryker looked to be leaning slightly, sure enough many people confirmed that was the case...
