• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    DCPR8EIX Iridium plug. THANKS LAMONT!!!

Correct plug? On a previous post a few months ago, I believe the correct Iridium plug for the Spyder was quoted as DCPR9EIX. Which is correct, the 8EIX or 9EIX.

    Fun with hitches

Dick, no work on a tan where I am in MN yet:gaah:. Has been pretty cool and cloudy most of the time since I got here with lows in the 40's and highs in the 50's & 60's most of the time. Sounds like it may improve next week . Hope you have a good trip to TN and out east and enjoy the...

After we got the hitch installed Dick, glad to hear that you got the wiring worked out with John's help. I assume that you got your trailer by now--how do you like it? If I ever decide to get a trailer at least I know where to go for install and wiring help now:clap:.

    Stallion

They have been around for 3 or 4 years. The company had an agreement with Ford that they would handle all service & warranty work on the engine. I just saw an article in Wing World that they were going to stop production of the Stallion for now as Ford ceased production of the engine they were...

    ? about Spyder models.

Thanks for the answers. All this time I have been calling my '09 an RS when in reality it should be a GS if the designation didn't change until 2010. :gaah:

    Well...pray for good weather tomorrow.

Finally rode mine to Action Motorsports in Lafayette on the 16th to get the DPS done. Pretty decent weather for the ride finally. Hoped to have it done while I waited but they are starting to get busy now so had to leave it. Last time I checked they had 7 of the replacement units on hand as...

    Araknd

I just had Utopia build & install a backrest on my '09 RS with comfort seat and it looks like it came right from the factory. Excellent quality & great service. I decided to have them do the install for an extra $40 as I wasn't comfortable with tearing the seat apart & I didn't have the...

    Bushtec hitch on RS.

Thanks for the replies. I would get the CAN AM hitch as it costs about the same as the Bushtec but I would prefer a frame mounted hitch that doesn't work with the suspension, especially since I don't intend to buy the CAN AM trailer. I am afraid other trailers that weren't designed of a hitch...

    Bushtec hitch on RS.

I have an '09 RS with BRP saddlebags installed. As I have been looking for a frame mounted hitch I called Bushtec to see if their hitch would work. They told me that they have never had a :f_spider: at their shop that had bags installed to see if the hitch would fit properly. Has anyone out...
