• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    hidden turn signal lights

I found a place to put the Axillary turn signal LED's (As you all know the signal lights in the dash are hard to see). On my old RT I had them stuck to the mirrors. This worked find and look good but this time I thought of something different. I decided to play around with it and I like this...

Going for a demo day test ride, any things to look for?

Match your needs. Sounds like you are the RT touring/comfort style rider as I am. My wife wanted to be comfortable and have the sense of security the RT Spyder delivers. The F3 is an awesome cruiser style Spyder for those who enjoy that type of riding and the riding position. The RT has...

    Another New Owner - 2014 RT S, SM6

I agree with Bob, the adjustable air deflectors do a good job with air flow. The lazer alignment is not needed unless your spyder is pulling or drifting from one side to the other. If it is the alignment will fix it. Enjoy your ride.

    1st Ride Impressions

I agree, if the bike isn't pulling to either side(like a car would do if the alignment is off) and if you can let go of the handlebars, on a straight patch of road, and it doesn't head left or right the alignment would not be needed. I have a '14 RT and the handling is good for me without a sway...

Never had anyone to sit on my bike unless I know them. I do have the half cover when traveling and use it when parked.

    V twin vs 1330

I loved my RT V twin I had a 2010 RT S, (V Twin 998). Manuel trans. I loved that Spyder. As you said, money is the factor or you would just go ahead with the 1330 engine. Don't despair, find a 2012 RT S with fairly low mileage and go for it. the 2013's did have some heat issues. So I would...

    2014 rts mpg

love it for the performace and mileage I really like the fact that i can travel over 100 miles, 110 to 120 and the gas gauge is just down to 1/2 tank. Really! I know, without a doubt, that 200 miles on a tank is there if I need it. Period. Guys, I drive it more on the hard side than the soft...

    brp called

RT call I received a call a few months back with general conversation on the RT's as well as any other issues or suggestions I may have for BRP. It was a good call and the caller was truly interested in my opinions. I also have never gotten a call from any other motorcycle or car manufacture...

New Shocks AND BajaRon's New Shock Adjusters

Good question Bob. My first reaction would be to soften up the suspension, front and rear. I think this would soften up the pothole before it gets to the rider. I know I do this on the rear shock when the wife is with me. She wants a softer ride and don't like the bumps. I would think it would...

New Shocks AND BajaRon's New Shock Adjusters

From one of the test pilots, As I was one of the "test pilots" testing the pre-production units, for Ron, I tried to use a lot of different loads by loading the spyder with tools and stuff to add weight (front and back), rode 2 up, changed settings, at random, many times to check them out. I...

    Rt 2011

I had a 2010 RT S and replaced the battery in 2014. It didn't give up but seemed a little week at times upon starting (I did keep it on a tender 80% of the time). with all of the electronics involved and the problem low voltage can cause I just changed it out of caution. As far as the tires go...
