• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    My dilemma!

I could not agree more. In 2002 I quit riding due to Kidney and Colon Cancer. Sold my Harley, all my leathers helmets equipment etc. didn't want the wife to have to deal with it. I got better. It took until 2008 to get another two wheeler but just did not have the strength. Now 11 years...

    My dilemma!

Wow why don't you tell me what you really think! Anyway they list at $30,900 for the solid colors and $32,900 for the two tone. About a tad more that a Limited Spyder and eight thousand less that a new Goldwing conversion. The fact that i got $26,000 trade in for my Spyder helped a lot. They...

    My dilemma!

Here are some pictures of my new ride at the dealer waiting for new handlebars (2" closer and backrest) got to love actually seeing a motor! I wish BRP made a stripped version with the motor showing. As you can see it looks a lot like my old Police ride.

    My dilemma!

I did consider the Honda but my history is with the Harley and I am pretty comfortable with the pre-WW II technology:roflblack: seriously though the main impediment for the Honda trike for me is that it is a conversion with many kits to choose from all of which negate the bikes warrantee...

    Swerving.. Spyder or human error?

Because they make a lot more $$$ off of four wheelers, watercraft and snowmobiles. Most dealers are not motorcycle Shops and put their resources where their main business is. Spyders are still a minority product in most areas and with most small dealers. My nearest dealer has at least twenty...

Yamaha comes at multiwheeling but its a bit bland

Interesting idea but it may be a bit dangerous. What if you entered a turn too hot and exceeded the lean on the bike? I have seen some Piaggios in the local bike shop for sale with scratched up body work. The problem with a leaner is that they don't lean as much as a regular two wheel...

    Tachometer

:agree: Keep the RPMs up to shift at around 5,000 is great but no less than 4,000. I down shift at 4,000 and use mostly engine breaking to slow down.
