• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3 Vibration "Work-Around"

Interesting I had my 3k service today and was a little concerned that I might now have the irritating vibration that some have noticed. Nope, still nothing nothing noticeable for me. I hope this gets resolved for those that do have it. Tom

    ECONOMY

Unfortunately. . . . . . . . . . Economy isn't in any way, shape, or form a part of the F3. I don't think I have ever heard any Spyder owner say, " I just fell in love with it, it is just so darn economical! " Tom

    Fixed that!

A test tomorrow . . . . . . . I am going to leave the fenders black, but I am going to paint ( temporary ) the raised running lights/reflector molding yellow to see if I like it. It may look too busy for a banana. Tom

    It's in my garage

Very nice! Lots to enjoy in the F3, I am over 3k and still haven't used the Eco mode either. I'm just too infatuated with the throttle. :p Tom

What is the average time to complete the 3000 mile break in period.

Ditto :agree: Me too. Mine goes in tomorrow. I've been doing more short/errand runs on the bike, but have not done my usual long day runs. Tom

    rear fender ideas

Another idea . . . . . . . another rider here in NM took off the rear fender and then mounted it ( screws ) to the top of the rear wheel well so that the plate was just under the brake/turn signals. It looked very "clean" and he said it only took a couple of minutes to do. Later, he...

    Odd problem posting pix here

The best solution I found is to . . . . . . . . . not Insert Images, but Attach them with the Attachment function. Tom

    Fixed that!

Fixed my F3 so it is now 10 to 15 mph faster. Great bike, now faster since it is Slingshot Yellow. I still have the license plate holder and the raised running lights on the fenders to do. As an added bonus, the CanAm "red" on the frame now looks very good - so I am not going to paint that. Tom

Just watched the flatbed take her away.

    The F3 looks great . . . . . . . So, how does it sound to you? Tom

Custom stripes DONE. what you think.?

Since I am simple . . . . . . . . . . I would vote for keeping it simple and elegant. The current stripe accents look very good - a nice improvement. Tom

    F3 saddlebags feedback

Only one thing to do . . . . . . . . . Return them. If you like the bags, ask for a replacement - otherwise get your money back and shop around. Think of it like this, YOU are the final Q&A on this product. It failed. Tom

    Missing something?

Just a heads-up for those of you who need something to obsess about today. I was cleaning my F3 yesterday and while wiping down the inside of a front wheel, the hubcap popped off. I put it back on, but it came off with just the slightest nudge. Checked the other one and just the slightest nudge...

    Am I making a mistake?

    Me too . . . . . . . . :agree: Tom

For those of you considering driver floorboards...

I love the pegs too . . . . . . . . it is to each his own, but I think that floorboards on a F3 belong just like a kickstand does. Tom

    My new F3

I'm beginning to think . . . . . . . . it isn't F3, it is really F(squared) and that the F stands for Fun. Like others have mentioned, it just gets better, too. You have some great experiences in front of you. Tom
