• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    RS Trailer Towing Milage...

Milage We have about 10k trailer miles and have to say that our CHAD windshield had a much more negative effect on our mileage than pulling the trailer. We are pulling a California Sidecar Escapade LE trailer with a 2008 PE edition Spyder. We got a reliable 30 mpg whether it was one up, two...

Review of a New Way to Add Electrical Stuff

A website whose reviews I have found to be reliable has a posted a review of a new power distribution system. This could be another alternative for those us that like to add electrical gadgets, heated clothing hookups etc. etc. to our Spyders. Read and form your own opinion. :thumbup...

    Cooler selection

I carry a much smaller cooler inside my trailer instead of on the tongue. Can you lock the cooler you are considering? I could not tell from the link you provided. It would be a concern for me if I was buying one that was going to be open to the public. As Scotty said above, watch out that...

    Ride-On question

Just MHO. The wheel wts. will be wrong if the tires are swapped. Even if you trade sides with the same wts. the position will probably have to be adjusted and the balance point will have definitely changed for the tire with the wear. If you are short on funds, I think the cheapest route is to...

Question for those of you that put RT shocks on your RS's...

:agree: I bought a set of 2010 RT stock shocks and springs from a forum member who upgraded to Elkas. They bolted right of my 2008 GS/RS. With the right jack and a friend this takes maybe 20 to 30 minutes. I have the Evo sway bar. I set the RT shocks to 4 and went for a ryde. I returned...

    Floorborad question...

Is there anyway to move the shifter higher? Yes, most shift levers are held in place with a pinch bolt. I am pretty sure the Spyder has this set up, but I have not had the need to change the position of mine so I am not 100% sure. Loosen the pinch bolt, pull the shifter off the shaft, move the...
