• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Dealer in Salt Lake City

Hi, guys: I am presently on a road trip with the family, (no, not with the Spyder) and will be going through Salt Lake City. Back home, I was trying to buy a summer mesh jacket, but they were sold out at all dealers around me, and they were not able to order before next season. Anyone has...

    New Ultimate tall boy seat

It will most likely sit you higher, as the Spyder frame is slanted upwards towards the rear. My BRP comfort seat does move you back and up. Better seating position, but also less protection from the winshield. ...Ben...

    Montreal with the Harley group

They are calling for nice weather for the weekend. Tomorrow will be very uncomfortable (93 deg, extremely humid), but they are calling for cooler temperatures for the weekend. Beware of the traffic, even during the weekend. Montreal is on an island and there is construction work on pretty much...

    GPS: Small VS Wide screen

For those who have used both screen sizes: Is the wider screen of a Zumo 660/665/350 a real advantage over the narrower form factor of the Nuvi 550 or Zumo 220 ? My instinct tells me that what's ahead of you is more important than what's on the sides, but I might be missing something...

    Taller rider needs some advice...

I'm 6'3". I tried both RT and RS and ended up buying an RT, even though the riding position felt more natural for me on the RS. The RT had many plus sides and matched a bit more my riding style. It felt cramped however, the seating position was way too close to the handlebars, and I could not...

    RT-Limited question.

As posted many times in the past (and in the thread), the Limited does not come with the comfort seat. And by the way, the comfort seat is not more comfy than the regular seat. The seating position is more comfortable for tall drivers. It just makes you sit further back from the pegs and...

Changing GPS prior to Durango trip.

Decision criterias One thing you also need to decide is if you need the maps to be onboard, or if it is ok to use a server based system such as Motion X (meaning it works as long as you are within cell phone coverage, and if you data plan is sufficient to accomodate the maps download) I know...

Changing GPS prior to Durango trip.

If you don't mind the GPS to decide by itself where to route you, there are a few option on the iPhone. If you want to be able to customize the route to force it to use the roads that you want to be on, the choices are few. I am using ALK CoPilot live on my iPad, which I leave in the trunk and...

New Garmin Zumo 350 motorcycle GPS

For those of you who might have missed it, last week Garmin officially announced their first model of a new line of Zumo GPS. Their new 350 seems to be very similar to the existing 660: same screen, a few new goodies, but mostly looses the cell phone bluetooth and mp3 player... For the same...

RT Fog light: Useful or looks only ?

So if I understand right, the Ram Air intake scoops fresh air straight into the air filter intake through some air duct ? And yes, it also is a 2,427 miles round trip for me to get it installed, so it is not likely to happen tomorrow. Thanks for all of who helped out: much appreciated. ...Ben...

RT Fog light: Useful or looks only ?

I have an 2011 RT/AC and I was wondering about usefulness of the fogs. Do they actually make a difference at night ? On many of the cars I have owned, they were there for looks more than anything else. Is it the case on the Spyder ? I know many like the fact that it makes you more visible, but...
