• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone have any good Headlight upgrade suggestions?

There are already (or were) LED headlight bulbs in there. Since the PO did it, I've no idea how long they've been in there. Had to replace the LED fogs last year or so. I'd buy from the "approved" vendors, but I'm retired, and the prices seemed a little steep. Since several people in this...

Anyone have any good Headlight upgrade suggestions?

Amazon had none of the lights mentioned in this thread. I ended up with some called Nineo Generation II. They're one of the few Amazon guaranteed will fit. My concern is that they have the big rectangular drive box. Where is that supposed to fit? Somewhere inside the headlight? Seems like it'd...

Do I really need to replace the DESS & ignition for key replacement.- 2014 RT-S?

Sorry, haven't been here in quite a while. Just this past summer I finally got around to getting to the Rock Hill Can Am dealer. Bought the key, but the service guy said he wouldn't charge me till he tried to program it. According to him, 2014 was a "transition" year; some '14s could be...

RT seems better suited for seniors

I don't know about seniors - I'm not 60 yet. before buying my 2014 RTS, we "test sat" F3Ls and RTs. The wife much preferred the passenger accommodations on the RT, so that's what we have. I got a chance to ride an F3L at the Can-Am Experience a month or so ago and I was underwhelmed. I think...

Can I just disconnect the under Seat switch on my 2022 RTL?

Couldn't possibly have anything to do with the extra weight... As far as I'm concerned, nanny it too abrupt already, at leas on my '14. Maybe it's smoother on the newer models? Doesn't matter - when I'm riding two-up, I'm not trying to ride hard, so it's not an issue.

Has anyone used Hippo Hands on their Spyder?

The grips on my 14 RTS get warm enough on high, but the backs of my hands still get cold It's ok for my short commute, but I wouldn't ride distance with it. Heated gloves are the only way to go for me.

    Review: Review of M2 Shocks

Got the M2s installed saturday. Took an hour or so ride on sunday with her. Rides nice with the two of us. The ACS is still out, but we never bottomed out even over the speed bumps in the neighborhood.

Can't say that I've noticed that myself. I was doing 80+ on the way to Rock Hill for the Can Am Experience ride. Tryke was stable the whole way. But that was unusual, usually I'm at the speed limit, especially when cruising the back roads. I avoid superslab when at all possible.

    Review: Review of M2 Shocks

I'm not too worried about cornering issues while riding two-up. When she's on the tryke, I take it easy and we just tool around at a leisurely pace. We'll see how it is when I'm alone. I bought the one-piece Baja Ron sway bar because of roll in corners only to start the install and find out I...

Do I really need to replace the DESS & ignition for key replacement.- 2014 RT-S?

It was either COG (Concours group) or the STOC (ST owners) site that had a section with a list of people and their locations and what kind of help they could offer. Some people could offer tools and assistance, some had trailers or trucks for towing if needed and some would provide food or a...

Do I really need to replace the DESS & ignition for key replacement.- 2014 RT-S?

Thanks, I wasn't expecting to make my money back or anything. I'm retiring (again) shortly and if I did anything like that it would be more of a hobby side business to keep me amused and occupied. So far I've done all the work on mine. Central SC - I m in Columbia, almost the center of the...

    Review: Review of M2 Shocks

If you're asking me, I'm at 220, and the wife is about 215. She's mostly disabled and only rides with me occasionally, so we don't "tour" on it together. Usually an hour or so at a time. Marcus set us up with 600# rear an 300# each fronts.
