• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nicely done and very eye catching! I just finished the last pieces on my new wrap, which is a bit, um, s t e a l t h i e r , maybe, than yours is! :roflblack: This is my second wrap from Marc at Spiralus Designs and I'm very pleased with the product and the service.

    A favor request from jeuchler

Finished! I just wanted to pass along my daughter's appreciation to all who participated in her survey as part of the research for her engineering final project in Engineering Design & Development. She and her partner presented last week to a panel of engineers (an article and photos are...

    Graphics Packages...

Under (new) wraps! OK, I removed the "gunmetal green" carbon fiber wraps and just put on a new set, after the new BRP comfort seat and new grips and DayRunners. Loose steering was fixed (again) and vehicle was inspected. Good to go, fingers crossed. Now, I'm not quite as...flamboyant as some...

    Hyperfiber?

Has anyone used Hyperfiber with any success? I just saw an episode of Trucks! tv show where they used it to make a repair; it cures in sunlight--no epoxy--or you can use a UV light to harden it. Price doesn't look bad, either. 60" by 12" for $60. Geez. It'd even be great to carry for...

    Dealer Recommendation-Western MA

Shameless dealer plug: I brought the Spyder down to the dealer where I bought old PE #2929 over two years ago. After the last two visits for DPS update and DPS unit replacement, now the steering had a ton of play in it. I have often wrote that it's frustrating when it's not clear if...

Any one receive free hat coupon from BRP?

I got the mailing the day after I wrote "I didn't get the mailing.":roflblack: Brought the Spyder down (again) for steering issues and gave my coupon. The dealer hadn't seen it before. I took an all black Can-Am Spyder hat The white letters and grey letters are embossed rubber. Stitched red...

Can we set a record in Cowtown Spyderfest next year?

Comfort seat is on, DayRunners are on, Kury Grips are on. Steering is "fixed"...again. If you all hold this gig in July or August, we can make it! (Maybe I can drag our MA, NH, NY, and CT neighbors as well...:doorag:)

Hey, Reverend-- We were just at the Maine Diner on Saturday! (Barb had the Dale Arnold. I had an omelet and blueberry pie.) We waited for you but then we had to leave...We only saw one Spyder in MA on the way home.

Biker looking to 'defect' to Spyder - advice please?

Oh, not again. You know, ataDude, BRP probably would've sold twice as many Spyders, except for all the people who came on here, saw your "sidekick (TM)" and thought "Ooooh...I didn't know it needed a kickstand...Forget it." Although I like it better now with the sparkles...

Biker looking to 'defect' to Spyder - advice please?

Hey, CanadaY I guess it's a little like saying a Jeep has dubious handling. Not in a New England snowstorm, it doesn't. A Porsche has dubious handling. Not on the Pacific Coast Highway, it doesn't. Different driving the jeep on the PCH, just as driving the Porsche in a snowstorm will be...

    Help Needed

The money my insurance company pays me if I get into an accident does not have as its sole source all of the premiums I have paid over the years, rather it comes from premiums of many community members. At least in theory, the safer everyone is, the lower my insurance rates, while still...
