• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I’ve got a funky electrical issue - Ryker won't start after fixing light...

Based upon the "check Key" and "VSS fault" there may be two issues Check key: Does your second key have the same results? VSS fault warning: There are threads about this, but first I'd check for interruption of the speed sensor wiring at the wheel where you have been working.

Anyone installed 2022 Ryker factory cruise control? I have questions??

No direct experience on a Ryker, but generally if the ECM is already programmed for factory cruise control, simply adding the switches should be all that is necessary. I added factory cruise to a 2019 Kia Soul with no issues. Pulled the steering wheel, added switches, re-installed steering wheel...

What octane is best for High Altitude Colorado?

The reason for asking Tucker01 the unanswered question is that 85 octane may work well at or above ~8,000 feet, but might not be best in the 5,000 feet low lands. 8,000' has the same affect as reducing CR ~25%. Only once did I hear my CB1100 lightly ping and that was in this area, 282 feet...

Ryker 600 - will the speed/RPM be too high for a regular 75mph commute?

Rotax is very well built, but if, due to the CVT, high speed cruising RPMs are 7,000 versus 4,500, the Rotax is going to turn the same total number of revolutions in 6 years as a motor turning 4500 RPMs will turn in 10 years. Or, in terms of mileage, 60,000 miles versus 100,000 miles. As a...

Ryker 900 first oil change: debris in filter housing

If no debris came out the drain, then I would expect: 1. The oil filter caught the debris; 2. or most likely due to size, the debris originated in the oil filter housing and went no further You may want to change oil and filter again shortly for peace of mind.
