• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone running 80/100w H4 bulbs in their Ryker?

I have been extremely pleased to run Auxito H4s on 8 of my last 9 M/C (23 Moto Guzzi V7-850 came with LED headlight) and they were not the highest Auxito output ($19.99 at Amazon) I am 77, had cataract surgery in 2022. I also run Auxito in my 2016 Nissan Frontier. Extremely satisfied. Auxito...

What Brand or Type of Oil Should I Use in my Ryker??? Must it be safe for wet-clutch?

When I had my 2020 Ryker, BRP/XPS did not have a full synthetic for 10W40 (or was is 5W40?). Personal recommendation: 1. Use M/C if you want, but it is NOT necessary on a Ryker dry "clutch" (belt between adjustable sheaves), as on my Moto Guzzis and is a compromise in lubrication. 2. Use pure...

Curious if anyone with Std Ryker has tried it on Gravel FS Roads?

The only time I had a clearance issue in ~6,000 miles was on a 1105-mile 6-day trip. I pulled off the highway for a photo op at the Vermilion Cliffs sign enroute to Grand Canyon North Rim (same trip as Perkinsville Road area) Getting back on the highway were two levels of asphalt (one newer...

Cannot answer for sure, as I no longer have my 2020 Ryker, but these were my glove box tool kit. Metric Allen L wrenches were 3-8 mm https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?131932-Service-parts-prices-sources&p=1517987&highlight=tools Very rare for me to utilize a tool for my ride...

    Thanks A Lot, Can-Am!!

I consider the Ryker to be the Corvette of CanAm, as was the Sportster to Harley-Davidson. It is a hot-rod, but most capable of a comfortable 1100 miles in 6 days.

    Once Upon a Time...

Do not know the current situation in California, but prior to retiring from a city police department in 1993, I would have arrested the driver, done a field sobriety test on the passenger, confirmed she was not sober to drive and then towed the vehicle. Any overt actions on her part and she...

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Have you already upgraded to 400 mm shocks? Sorry if you already posted, but I now only lurk occasionally. Not only longer, with increased ground clearance, but the full length springs are so much better. https://www.amazon.com/GZYF-Motorcycle-Absorbers-Universal-Kawasaki/dp/B00XVH4NVG?th=1...

Replacing 2021 front rotors/brakes - lube the pad pins too?

Years ago, eldest son-in-law and I did a parking lot replacement of front brake pads on a 87 Accord coming back from a family vacation. One pad was like new and the other worn to metal. The caliper could not float, as the pins were dry. +1 on suggestions to lubricate.
