• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone have problems with Tricled Peel & Stick Wide-Vu Mirrors?

Yes, I never had an issue with my STS as the mirrors had no trim edge around their perimeters. My RTL has this trim which prevents the back of the wide view mirror from making very much contact with the face of the OEM mirror surface. Seems like the wide view unit is about 1/32 - 1/16 inch too...

Anyone have problems with Tricled Peel & Stick Wide-Vu Mirrors?

Same problem here. New 2023 RT and just received my mirrors from Slingmods. No way they are gonna fit over the plastic outside trim piece on the factory mirrors. Anyone figure this out yet other than adding about 3 more layers of 3M tape?

I thought I saw a post recently on how to post photos on the redone website but it eludes me at this time. I am attempting to change my avatar and post some pics of my new RT. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

    BRP Connect App

Hello, I just purchased a new 2023 Spyder RT Limited. The owner's manual advises one to download the app in order for the iphone to function with the system. I do not see the app listed on the Apple site. Is the app still valid, and, does one actually need it in order to use the iphone with...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Unfortunately, Motomember in Purcellville is where it will going next week as they are only 10 miles from my home. Yes, I have my doubts on it being fixed correctly due to past visits for assorted service work. Only location I could find due to distances and issues getting it out of Baltimore...

Has anyone ever had to have accident damage repaired at a Can Am dealership or did you or the dealership have to sublet the repairs out somewhere else? Allstate did a rough estimate of the repairs of the damage based upon some photos I sent in only Of course, they requested that I select a...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Actually, Saturday the 12th. Hit the rear of an SUV in stop and go traffic with my right front wheel. Spent 12 hours in the local ER undergoing tests and awaiting information. Possibly totaled due to age of the bike and the fact that the front wheel took the brunt of the impact; it is knocked...

Limp mode and engine stalling, Codes P1172 & P1175 - any ideas?

Ran the engine for about 40 minutes this morning. Idle stayed steady, no stalling and no codes were present. Hoping the disconnected vacuum hose was the issue. Yes, zip ties may be a good idea. Thanks all for you input.

Limp mode and engine stalling, Codes P1172 & P1175 - any ideas?

I'll recheck for the codes tomorrow. Was getting late and the cats had to be fed and I needed a beer, etc. The silicone tubing was supposedly the proper diameter sent to me by another member here some time ago. I also had ordered some myself from another source, so I have plenty. Thanks for...

Limp mode and engine stalling, Codes P1172 & P1175 - any ideas?

Added some HEET and Seafoam to the tank this morning. Battery terminals checked for tightness and security. Pulled the left side panels off later today. Found the silicone vacuum hose to the rear cylinder completely off the nipple fitting. The front hose was still in place. Re-attached the rear...

Limp mode and engine stalling, Codes P1172 & P1175 - any ideas?

Had a beautiful day to go riding, so off I went. Stopped for gas about 30 miles away from home. The bike ran perfectly until about the last ten miles. Then, it felt like it was trying to shift between 4th and 5th because the engine started surging, Next, the Limp Mode light came on and the...

High beams not coming on when selected or flashed - any ideas?

2014 ST-S. Today I started the bike and did my "pre-flight" inspection and discovered that the high beam headlights would not come on when hitting the switch to either the high beam or flash settings. The low beams stayed lit in all positions. Started checking and removing all the fuses and...
