• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Oil Frequency and Oil Type do you use?

I just looked at the spec sheet myself. I think "if" it were mine that I would drain it out and replace it with an approved oil.

Safety Recall Notice re brakes - that's probably caused my battery failure!

Just wondering, did BRP send you a recall notice? They did me but the switch is now not available to individuals as they are being saved for the recalls..... So I've been told by countless dealers.

Copied from their Facebook Page: Low Gap Cafe is in Jasper, AR. August 3 at 1:39 PM · UPDATE Getting closer, week by week, to opening our doors back up!!! If you've driven by the old Forestry Building in Jasper you'll have noticed the new exterior doors, windows, and patio entranceway were...

Spyder sat too long - now it sounds/runs bad! Any ideas?

Another question, (I might have missed it but) since you did not buy the oil, what brand & weight? Maybe a picture of the bottle also. You do know that just any oil will not work, right?

Will Charging the Camper's Battery off my Spyder overload the Alternator

I'm not sure what the output amps of the alt. is on the spyders. Over working the alt. would be my main concern. Time will tell, I guess. I like the solar panel idea!

    Oil analysis @ 3 years & 9500 miles.

One thing that I have learned with over 30 years in the maintenance field is that "Most" people will disagree with just about anything concerning motorized vehicles. Especially, Oil, Tires, Service Intervals, Antifreeze and Fuel Mileage. :coffee:

2020+ SEAT Strut issues - a different solution!

Not as far as I know. It is a known problem along with the trunk strut being weak. I didn't try to get them to fix mine as it would have cost me more in time and money than me just eating the cost. Plus, why get another one just like it? It will fail also as they are/were still using the same...

Is it normal for 2011 RT to have very touchy steering at speed?

Yep, way too much air in the tires. Also, what kind/brand of tires are you running? If you are running the Kendas then 18 front and 24-25 rear, if you are running car tires all the way around then it should be 17-18 psi for all three tires. It looks like Blueknight & I was thinking the same...

Any options for giving passenger a backrest and armrests?

As stated, parts are available. On the arm rests, they are an accessory item that is available in both OEM and aftermarket. IMHO the OEM looks better but if you have a plus size wife, they may not work out for her as they will not swing all the way out to give access for easy mounting and...

    Tire report (rear) Forceum 225/60/r15

I gotta agree with EdMat about looking at the tire pressure before starting on your ride. You'll see where everything is at then you can do whatever you want to with your phone. For me I use google maps and IHeart radio. It will also send out an alarm if tire pressure drops which will alert you...
