• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Finally! Stopped Snowing!

The machines are covered in everything from salt, sand and cow poo from riding through the farm land. Got a massive cleanup to do today on both of them. Still worth it though. At least the cow poo keeps them lubricated.:roflblack: As long as ya get the salt off of them and they don't sit in 40+...

    Off road Spyder

That's sick! I thought of getting an enduro to run the class 4's all the way to the Canadian border. But, that with a backpack strapped on the back and a M60 mounted on the frunk...c'mon...that would be the ultimate Boondocker here in VT. I want one. I'd disappear for a month! Cruise the fire...

    Finally! Stopped Snowing!

It's about time! Awesome ride to get a late breakfast in Sugar and Spice in Mendon. Then out to West Rutland to Middletown Springs to Pawlet to Manchester then home. Lots of "hairy eyeballs" and stares of disbelief from passersby. 48 degrees. Peerrrfffect! Snowmobiles blasting across the...

    Ooomg...what the..?!!!

Just a thought; My RS has never had a problem with being bogged. EVER. Although I've spent considerable time tuning with the AFR gauge and JB Pro. I don't bog it often however. It's always smooth as silk. I would put a jack under the bottom rear shock mount on the swingarm, jack it up, start it...

    Brrrrrr!!!!

Right there with ya! Started snowing and sleeting here in VT yesterday. Supposed to be in the 60's by Monday. Gotta love this place! Freakville USA!

    Handguards

If you have an SE model then you may be able to modify or shorten the mounts. A manual is different as you would have the clutch lever so you'd need to keep the clearance. I've been contemplating this very same thing. Not sure if I'd want mitts or guards. I have guards on my 660r raptor with...

Fall Color Contest!- Winner gets a free swaybar or plugwires from BajaRon

That photo gets my vote although there's no Spyder in it. Being a professional Photographer, that is EPIC! Here is some "cheese" from today (West Arlington VT/Battenkill River). Color kinda sucks this year because of the drought this summer!:dontknow: This is a link to my FLIKR photostream...

    New England Spyder Riders

I am always looking for riders to hook up with as well. Any ideas as to how to get those of us together? This is a strange place. Everybody says they want to get together to ride and never do. I call it "alien nation".:roflblack:

    200,000 Miles

WOW!!! I don't think my boney butt could ever take that many miles on one of these. That's impressive!:congrats:

    Dealers Oil Changes

That's why they call them "STEALERSHIPS"! Nobody touches my machines but me! Nobody! I do everything myself except changing a tire off and on a rim (yes, the rear wheel can be removed super easy as well as the belt alignment and belt tension can be performed by any idiot with a 10$ kricket...

How often do these things tip over??

Must be some awesome roads for riding and sightseeing out there!

How often do these things tip over??

Makes sense. I know if that happened to me I would probably lose confidence in the stability systems on the trike. I know I'd be REALLY mellow for a while'till I knew exactly what happened and why it almost went over. Sure glad you're ok and yes, that you were wearing a helmet!

How often do these things tip over??

That is extremely disturbing as I get the nanny to kick in every time I ride it.:dontknow:

How often do these things tip over??

I always end up breaking the rear loose long before I get lift in the front. That's why my rear tire (factory) only lasted about 5000 miles. I ride it like a sled and do a full weight transfer to the inside of the turn when riding hard in the corners. These things will corner really well but...

    winter is coming be prepared

I kinda like the way the spyder feels when the rear brakes loose at 50+mph. Life flashing before my eyes. The cold chill as I realize I'm heading off a bridge into a 150 ft ice filled ravine. UUHHH Yea! Chains would be nice but c'mon....where's the thrill?;)

    Some HD riders are IDIOTS!!

Right there with ya! I don't ever wave unless I'm waved to first and then it's only if I feel like lifting my hand. Don't really care. I ride for me! Not for anyone else. At this point the people coming up to me to ask about the spyder have become a serious annoyance. I sputter under my breath;"...
