• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Harley davidson speaks to declining bike sales

NEWS - HARLEY DAVIDSON SPEAKS TO DECLINING BIKE SALES Apparently the Baby-Boomers all have motorcycles. Generation X is only buying a few, and the next generation isn't buying any at all. A recent study was done to find out why Millennials don't ride motorcycles: Here are the study...

Test pilot experience Baja Ron new NGK Iridium IX spark plugs 2015 F3-S SE6 Spyder

This is the 1st for me hearing that the NGK Iridium produces more power & torque & also a wider plug gap helps. I have zero experience with the Spyder spark plugs buts lots of experience with the Hayabusa NOS & Hayabusa turbo. The NGK is the best all around plug but I needed to gap closer...

Delay'd shift into 2nd gear under full throttle

    Might be closer to 1/2 second--but it's definitely noticeable . :-(

Delay'd shift into 2nd gear under full throttle

One would think the gear shift lever should be the controlling factor--maybe BRP isn't one of the ones who think that:shemademe_smilie:

Delay'd shift into 2nd gear under full throttle

I thought that power shifting issue was solved in the 1960's. The gears have a mechanical syncro thus if the gear is spinning at "X RPM" so is the gear change Syncro. When I think back I believe I noticed this problem prior to any ECU upgrades--I have a very good memory--it's just very...

Delay'd shift into 2nd gear under full throttle

No--it could be that occasion--but I just talking about testing maximum acceleration between 1 3-4 gears thus I keep the throttle pinned wide open even during shifting.

    Monster Fuel Injection Stage 2 Flash - F3T 2016

It's all cool Mike---I've even been in error once this year--it'was the time I said I've never been wrong:chat: bro d aka Darrell The main issue of high powered cars & motorcycles that set records is in the "Clutch settings" If the clutch locked up they would all spin going nowhere. I've...

How about a 10,000 HP Funny Car http://www.speedhunters.com/2017/03/nhra-101-how-to-run-a-10000hp-nitromethane-car/ Read the entire article bro Mike. They measure the track adhesiveness with a type of board & a torgue measure to see how much pressure it requires to life the board from the...

    Monster Fuel Injection Stage 2 Flash - F3T 2016

Wrongo Mikie--they spray water for the burnout--I believe the spray that starts at the tree is VHT traction compound . This is on a sanctioned track--not a Vermont back road:2thumbs: bro d PS: It is sprayed before the race begins--don't know how long it takes to dry?

    Monster Fuel Injection Stage 2 Flash - F3T 2016

They spray the track's 1st 100-200 ft thus I don't think I should be having a wheel spin problem issue. As for ET--1/4 of my timing slips have R/L written on them :roflblack:. I'm racing myself to see what the F3's will do, I imagine most of the runs I'll be looking at tail lights in the other...

    Monster Fuel Injection Stage 2 Flash - F3T 2016

Exactly Pete, The mousepower with Cat delete would be on the very top end of rpm & mph--kph to you Pete :-) . With the Cat delete I lost considerable off the line torque--the rear wheel never even spun, the added baffles I used were inadequate to provide the back pressure the engine needed at...

    Horrible tire wear

I got more mileage on the rear tires of my souped up 440 magnum & I spun them all the time. I agree I can't believe low tire pressure could cause that much wear in 1300 miles :-(

Delay'd shift into 2nd gear under full throttle

No--under full throttle I have a firm grip on the handle bar & a firm thumb press on shift lever, we both agree--more time & warmer weather. It was 28 degrees this morning currently 42 degrees. I grew up on a small dairy farm next to Green Bay, WI thus I've had my fill of cold weather riding...

    Monster Fuel Injection Stage 2 Flash - F3T 2016

I had the Stage 1 ECU upgrade & now Monster Fuel Injection did Stage 2 over the Winter. I can't hear any difference between Stage 1 or stage 2 or stock.. The CAT delete pipe will make it obnoxiously Loud--I even tried it with 2 Baffles which gave it a very weird sound. I'm going to put up...

Delay'd shift into 2nd gear under full throttle

Mike--it's been in Winter parked mode for 4-5 months. Maybe it needs to be loosened up. It's also a touch jumpy off the line--turning around in the driveway-etc--like it has a stall speed converter. But it sure won't hurt to ask Steve, I just need to put some miles on it 1st. Darrell
