• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got an Over heating warning at idle, went away riding - any ideas what could be wrong?

Are you certain the coolant reservoir cap is on correctly and correctly tightened?

Totally bonkers 'Miles to empty' on Can Am 2023 RTL - can it be fixed?

I've refueled the roadster 577 times (2,100 gal.) since I rolled away from the dealership 10 1/2 years ago and have averaged 37.2 with a low of 28 and small change blowing into a vicious headwind on I-40W at 85 mph in OK and a high of 45+ just puttering around on a day in CO in 2017. I learned...

First ride after adding seat gel hoping for more comfort, but nope, no change! What do do? Anybody made theirs better?

First ride of the season where you live; what's your backside been doing for the last 4-5 or more months? Unfortunately, only your butt can tell you. The possibly least expensive try would be an Air Hawk.

Desperately seeking a way to save and keep my 2014 frunk lid when I trade the Spyder in - any suggestions?

The least expensive 2014 ST-S Hood is Vegas White Pearl, $529.99. Go to this link: https://www.canamoemparts.com/oemparts/partsearch/can_am?partsearch=705007988 and you will find it, allegedly in stock. Call the dealership that is both a Harley and Can-Am dealership, ask for the online parts...

Trying to pre-plan custom decals - anyone have these measurements for a 2024 RT Ltd?

Please understand that I am not in any way, shape, or form attempting to talk you out of your plan, but I have read of automobile owners who procured new vehicles with matte finishes, and when something went wrong, the "aw, ****" factor came out in spades. Matte finishes are creatures of their...

Left headlight stopped working, but the Right headlight is still working - any suggestions on what to look at/try?

LongIsland's recommendation is in the bull's-eye. If you don't believe me, note the date you changed the first bulb and in a short while you'll be doing the second one when it dies.

Trying to pre-plan custom decals - anyone have these measurements for a 2024 RT Ltd?

That's quite an impressively wrapped Spyder. Considering the expense of having wraps created for your new roadster, as well as from an artistic perception, of which I am ignorant in both respects, have you considered contacting Sue Hopper, (319) 750-0814, [email protected], to see what she...

Is Running Diesel Oil in Your Spyder such a good idea?

One can think, opine, or attempt to pull alleged facts out of whatever body orifices one chooses, but the only way to determine how oil performs is through laboratory analysis.

Is anyone using one of these Lifts to work on their Ryker?

IMO, don't care about type of vehicle, it's always easier to break lug nuts loose and final torque 'em with vehicle on ground.

Any recommendations/suggestions on Cordless power ratchet options for Spyder work?

The young gent who was at my home recently doing the annual service on our backup generator said almost exactly the same thing about his Milwaukee 1/4" drive impact driver and was particularly complimentary about its battery life.

Is the Radiator vulnerable to damage?

On a two wheeler one could hit a large jackrabbit, as I have done on my Spyder and sustain far more damage than having one of my KOTT grilles knocked out of position, namely serious injury to the carcass on the bike.

Motorcycle Dave here with a Drivers License question

I checked as deeply as NC DMV would allow because the motorcycle handbook is so old. Straight drivers license is virtually automatic, but the motorcycle endorsement requires a written and an off-street skill test. I let my VA motorcycle license laps back in the 70s and took the MSF basic course...

Year and model of your Spyder would help. If you put that in your signature, it would help when you ask future questions.

Is anyone using one of these Lifts to work on their Ryker?

I have a later model, 50191, of such a Craftsman lift I use when I want to get the whole RT-S off the floor. From my own perspective although, like Mikey, I don't have a Ryker, before I attempted to lift the roadster with a lift like yours or mine, I would want to know exactly where the lift...

Little power in third gear and on top - any ideas?

I agree completely with what Peter says. You've a 2024, but how many miles on it? Unless you've more than 28K or have been running slop gas I see no reason for a fuel filter change or Sea Foam.

Any thoughts on Ground clearance on the RTL?

Ground clearance is not an issue. The problem is the individual(s) who do not examine the vehicle before purchase and recognize it is a low ground clearance vehicle and, therefore, speed bumps, driveway entrance & exit angles, and wheel blocks must be recognized for the gazillion different...
