• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recommend any Wind deflectors for 2020 RT?

I installed a Laminar Lip on my Show Chrome windshield(4 1/2" wider than stock) It helped a lot, then stuck Laminar type baffles that I made on the sides of the windshield below the Laminar Lip. That helped more. Now I can ride behind a semi and it is 90% better. If I could mount my 1800...

Proper Oil Level Verification Procedure on 1330-engined Spyders

I went out to the garage and started the Can am and idled it for 5 minutes, turned off and pulled the dip stick, wiped it of and inserted it again - pulled it out and the dip stick read 3/4th to 7/8ths, good enough check for me.....

Missing belt guard installation - should it touch the belt at all?

I bought the wrong belt guard(my bad) and also used it as a pattern to make an aluminum guard and installed it with 3 self tapping 1/4 in screws and came out nice. One little secret if you buy/use heat treated aluminum sheets(T6) is to untemper it by heating it up with a map torch, is to use a...

2 Seasons, 4200 miles, and a Green Check Mark!

That seems like a lot of FE as compared to my old Monaco motorhome with 200,000 miles on it. The FE with 16,000 miles on the oil was 28 and that is with a 5.9L turbo charged motor running 30PSI...

To grill or not to grill that is the question

Yes, the first thing I did on this 21 is paint the radiators with high temp flat black paint. That aluminum look made it look cheap to me. It required a lot of masking, the results was a better looking front end.The Kotts grill has already caught some butterflies. Looking at that bug infested...

What is that underneath my Spyder?

Gees, I don't know about you people, No one picked up on that Areo Exhaust muffler that is going on my old motorhome 4" dia in and out. It's gonna replace the 4 " Magnaflow that all the guts have blown out after 200,000 miles. Well, I know the picture was small but I don't think it would work.

What is that underneath my Spyder?

I've finished installing everything I have listed and now ready to test it all out. The wife comes out in the garage and looks everything over and says "that sure is a nice looking Can Am, but what are these shark fins in the front for?" I say "it's styling." So where did you put the new horn?"...

Cruise control issues on 2021 RT - not working; anyone else?

It seemed like the cruise switch on my 21 RTL wouldn't work when I first got it, I think maybe the lube they put in the switches may affect it some. I stopped and played with the switch for a while. Then it would work setting cruise. When I tried to get it to resume- I had to hold the switch for...
