• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Strike 4 Against My Dealer

And the crazy part is it is a really nice (looking) dealership. Ditto to the service area - clean, well stocked, organized, etc. It is both the dealership's fault and BRPs fault - in terms of quality control. I ordered the parts with the bike (and got some discount) - they should have been in...

    Strike 4 Against My Dealer

I test road a Sea to Sky and liked it (except for the color). The dealer didn’t have any others and it would be a month or more to get one, so I ended up purchasing a Marsala Red Dark edition, just what I wanted, from another dealer an hour away. It was the easiest sale the dealer ever had. I...

    Pedal Commander Waterproof Mount?

Hi all, I am installing a Pedal Commander (I am not liking the throttle response or distance I have to turn it). I'd prefer to have it on my handlebars - but do get caught in the rain occasionally. It is currently on sale at SlingMods so I pulled the trigger. I ordered it with the handlebar...

A Weird One With My Grips

I have a 21 RT Limited. I pulled the grips to install the BRP adjustable handlebar riser. Piece of cake. Nice option. When I re-installed the grips and tightened them properly, I found they both turn, just slightly, perhaps a quarter inch. They do not seem loose and they stop firmly when I...

New to me Spyder RT - what would you folks consider comfort/safety upgrades?

Convex mirrors, drivers backrest, inView - wireless helmet-mounted brake and turn signal light, louder horn, Grip Puppies :) (And, of course, like everyone else has said, more lights)

Zumo GPS wiring - what else can I use it for?

The "GPS" plug is keyed power. You can use to power anything. If it is a lower draw item, such as a GPS, you can wire it directly. A higher draw item (lights, etc. can be powered with a relay using the "GPS" power as an ignition-on trigger.

Hi, thanks, exactly! But where or where is it?!

    High beam Wire Location

I installed a set of driving lights that I want to come on with the high beams via a relay - anyone know where I can pick up the high beam wire? Thanks!

    Observations after first 300 miles

Hi all, I have been riding for a long time on BMW GSs, Triumphs, Hondas and a bunch of trail and dual sport bikes. A knee injury and 5 surgeries do not let me ride a regular 2-wheeler. So, last week, after test driving a Sea to Sky, I bought a 2021 RT Limited in Deep Marsala Metallic - Dark...

    21 RT Limited GPS Plug

I searched the forum and didn't find what I was looking for. I just purchased a Garmin Zumo XT and plan on wiring it to the stock GPS Plug. Do I need to buy the "mating" plug (to plug into what Can Am gives us)? I'd rather plug in than "positap" into it. Also, has anyone used the Robert...

What are the advantages of a cat delete?

So true. I did a full Remus exhaust replacement on a R1200GS Adventure Water COoled - which included a cat delete and had to do extensive modifications to management control software to keep the fuel mixture from getting too lean. In the end it was louder with no noticeable performance...

It's Official, Brought Home a 21 RT Limited Today!

Hi all, pics to follow! Had a nice hour long ride home from the dealer. Floorboard lights, adjustable handlebar riser, Driver backrest, passenger armrests and comfort seat are on order (I sat on a Sea to Sky and liked the seat better). Bike is awesome and will take some getting used to. It...

First mods to my Special - are factory fogs worth the $$?

Just a word of caution - if oncoming cars are flashing you and cars you follow hit their brakes (and your high beams are not on) - your accessory lights are aimed way too high. And that can be just as dangerous as as not having enough light. Even the brightest lights, properly aimed, shouldn't...

Helmet Communications Systems - what are you using?

My wife has a Neotec II (best helmet ever) and uses a Sena 20S (we have been very happy with it and have not seen a reason to upgrade). It mounted well and the mike does not interfere with the chin bar.

Does anyone make a (fog/running) light mount for a 2021 RT Limited?

I want to install a pair of Denali D7s (https://denalielectronics.com/products/dnl-d7-10000). They are very bright (over 15k lumens) and on the bigger/heavier side (4.4" 1.8 lbs). Does anyone make a light mount? Thanks much!

Sophie Morgan - modified Ryker...by the dealer?

Traxxion Dynamics specializes in modifications for Honda Goldwings. The owner, (Max McAllister) did this for a disabled Goldwing rider who wanted to convert a foot brake to a handbrake (left hand side, the Goldwing was a DCT, so it didn't have a clutch lever). Max is a great guy and may be...
