• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When looking in spyder ownership beware dealers are independant of BRP.

Do you complain to MicroSoft because you can't have the source code to Windows and make changes to it as you please? Quote Firefly. This is a very poor example. Microsoft or any other designer of products like theirs do not give out source code to stop pirate software. BRP keeping a...

Buyer beware!I wish I knew I was paying to borrow a spyder instead of own it

The personal attacks. Some understand my point. Others have no sense. I like the personal attacks it shows your IQ levels. Some understand my concern, and agree with my conclusion that a owner should have the right to repair their own purchase. I feel BRP should retail a pin activated BUDS...

When looking in spyder ownership beware dealers are independant of BRP.

I have a 09 SE5 purchased 10/28/08. I like my spyder but know after dealing with GBPS I like my 09 SE5, it is a blast to ride. When looking in spyder ownership beware dealers are independant of BRP.

Just to inform people considering purchasing a Spyder that each dealer is independent of BRP, and do not have to honor warranty if they choose. You could be purchasing a product that you may have to trailer hundreds of miles to get repairs if a dealer chooses not to work on your bike. If...

Got a nice surprise in the mail from BRP today

I got mine today from when we test rode a Sturgis I would be much happier if they would send me BUDS system so a person could work on their own bike. When I see that marketing rep this year I will tell him I like the machine, and your customer service sucks. I believe they should be loyal to...

Buyer beware!I wish I knew I was paying to borrow a spyder instead of own it

I am very disappointed after my purchase to learn that I have spent $17,000 to borrow a spyder, and not own one. For my $17,000 I do not get the right to work on my spyder myself because there is no scanner software, and BRP wants to keep a person depending on their Independent dealer for...

GM, Ford, Toyota, Harley, Triumph, ect. sell a diagnostic tool why not Can AM? Every other company retails a scanner. Why does CAN AM/ BRP not offer this. I wish I would have known when I purchased this spyder that I would just be borrowing from the dealer, and not owning it.:lecturef_smilie:
