• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Which is fine. Electric may eventually be our future. But government cramming it down our throats is not the way to do it. I have an EV and I like it. Back and forth to the shop everyday (8 miles), it's perfect! But if I only owned one vehicle, it definitely would not be all electric.

    EV's are very unpopular. Manufacturers are losing their shorts on these vehicles. Even with the hefty government (meaning you) subsidies to keep prices down. If these subsidies are removed (as may well happen with DOGE), what little propped up market EV's still enjoy will go away quickly.

    Didn't know about the phone issue. Sounds like that's a tougher nut to crack. I never use my phone for visiting Spyderlovers. I almost exclusively use my phone for mundane things like making and taking phone calls.

    If you're just worried about moving in the box you could use some Styrofoam or dense rubber foam to fill up the open area.
