• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    battery tender wire

Mine is located..... Mine is located inside the zippered pocket inside the FRUNK. THE ONLY issue I have and it really isn't an issue- is when I park my Spyder (2015 RT Limited) I lift the frunk gasket and slip the tender lead from the electrical plug under the gasket and then into the...

    spyderpops beltguard ?

I have had 2 of these now and no issues I have had two of these rock guards and both have been a blessing and like them. The post earlier about a cardboard spacer is right on, but it also says somewhere that if it does rub and you smell plastic, it won't last long and it will be fine. I...

    Ran The Dragon!!

I'd be run over for sure I'd love to experience that ride some day--but I am too cautious and a law abiding person so would probably be run over by others for sure- and given a few gestures and what not's! ;) I'd ride it to say I have done it, to enjoy the scenery and be thankful for the...

    Break-in of 2016 rt 1330 ENGINE

My dealer reciommended...... My Dealer recommended to change the oil on a new 2015 RT-Limited between 600 and 1000 miles. Said it was his feelling that it is always good to get any metal shavings etc., out of the engine asap, so that is why he recommended the first change at that interval...

First BRP product & first day was a failure, flashing R & N what next?

My VIN isn't on the list either--according to my dealer---but getting paranoid---- On my New 2015 RT Limited, I asked the dealer to see if my unit is one with a potential problem. They informed me my VIN# is NOT on the list. (Thank God) however, I saw someone else post on here not long ago...

Things you want BRP to make standard on Spyders.

3rd brake light should be standard The third brake light should be standard. A little higher ground clearance would be nice. Those are my two cents worth! ;)

I was gifted my first Gremlin Bell at Spyderfest! I was gifted a Gremlin Bell at Spyderfest this year. It was a prayer answered for me. I have been hoping for one since our first Spyder in 2012. We just got a 2015 and I still was hoping for one. Out of the blue a gracious couple we met at...

    15 amp accessory plug

I had the same issue I had the exact same issue. Popped the 5 amp fuse within seconds of trying to air up the Spyder Tire. We simply pulled the blown fuse and replaced it with a 15 amp fuse- should be fine for things like that. Normally people only charge cell phones etc., which draw...

Okay folks- what's the trick......volume level of 590 GPS and Sena's

Okay- So, my new 2015 RT-Limited can play the sound of the GPS through the bike's speaker system. ONLY if you have the Radio on and if you tune it to an OFF STATION you sometimes get static as the radio is trying to catch radio signals. I decided I didn't like that so.... I synchronized it to...

    Trailer tongue weight

I have a......utility trailer 7X12 I have a 7X12 (If memory serves correctly) and I tow my 2012 and now my 2015 RT Limited on it. I don't pull all the way forward just forward of the axle and strap it down. I have never had any issues pulling the trailer for 3 hours or what ever. Trailer...

Rear air shock won't hold air.

Here is what happened to our 2012 when we owned it While we owned our 2012 RTS-SE5- we also had an issue where our rear shock would not hold air. It turned out that water condensation had gotten into a fitting on the inflator and froze and cracked a fitting. Took it to the dealer and they...

    trailering a spyder

Exactly--- I agree with Bob---SE6- leave in Neutral, use 3 straps, check it after moving a little bit and check it often during your trip. The straps do come loose! This is exactly how we do it and it works great!

Kansas Rural roads---you betcha it works!!!! This is my second Spyder with the Spyderpop's Missing Belt-Guard and YES it works!!!! I hear more gravel being picked up by tires then ever getting ground by the belt. I had heard this a couple of times on my first Spyder before I put the...

    Back at home---but thank you---

Well, sadly in many ways, we are back at home safe and sound, the Spyder tucked back into it's parking space in the barn and things unpacked and unloaded. Deep, long sigh! So sad it takes so long for 12 months to roll by, you start to get excited in January with registration, then BOOM it's...
