• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There's been a REVER Price Increase - any other way to get radar?

Rainy Days is free and is an excellent app. It loads almost immediately and works better than any radar app I have ever used.

A question - does your pillion feel crowded by the riders backrest?

No problem at all for any of my passengers but none of them are overweight.

Dipping my big toe in to check the water

Once you get over the 'this thing is going to tip over or throw me off' feeling, you will be fine. Add a Baja Ron sway bar as soon as possible and you will be golden!

    Must have been thirsty.....

I don't understand that logic. Two half tanks cost the same as one full tank. What are you trying to accomplish with half tank fill ups?

Lithium Ion batteries and winter storage

Mike is right but the battery should be ok in the bike as well. Hopefully your charger has a cold weather setting which most modern maintainers do.

Any opinions on using Rain X on your Spyder's Windshield?

Do it! Honestly any modern ceramic/graphene will do the trick as well.

Any ideas on what this Noise on my 2022 RT-L might be?

There is something wrong with your Spyder and it is probably related to the compressor/air bag. It should not 'hiss' multiple times, ever. For sure mine doesn't.

How do you guys with multiple bikes handle Riding other bikes?

I just get on and ride. Doesn't matter what it is.

2020+ RT Passenger Arm Rests finally available! New Part No

This is exactly what I did. No way in hell I was leaving that ridiculous gap there. I had planned on 3d printing a piece to fill the gap but trimming the original piece made much more sense. I thought I had a picture of the trimmed piece without the armrest installed but I don't. I had intended...

To kill or not to kill (switch), that is the question

I use the kill switch sometimes at gas stations to keep my bluetooth connected so I don't have to wait the minute or so for it to load again after key off. It is a painfully slow process on these machines. Other than that I never use it.
