• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After advice on Buying New or Used? Opinions? Thoughts?

Sorry, you are missing out on some classic & good experiences (& bad) with that train of thought. Don’t have to be car show quality to appreciate a good vehicle, & DIY on them teaches much.

Need service - Code C1282 - anyone know an independent mech in Louisiana?

:agree: & see if floats in reservoir are stuck. :lecturef_smilie: Brake fluid is caustic. Inspect pads & rotors. Unfortunately too many dealers not accepting over 10year old either -so call around. Hopefully can resolve without dealer.

After advice on Buying New or Used? Opinions? Thoughts?

Hmmmm :dontknow: sounds a li'l steep for a '21. Extras are nice, but not priced. Also believe heated seats were not optional, heated grips were. Suggest visiting a dealer & do a test drive, or to take a course. Spyders do not handle the same as other bikes/trikes. They can also provide more...

Well hopefully least 5-10m between tries giving starter time to cool a touch. Had stall issues from bad evap & yup killed a starter $$$:banghead::barf:

Anyone mounted a Rearview Camera on RT Ltd? What type?

This? https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/501486 It would maybe work if you still have a stand-alone GPS & that's not all done by an app in the dash.

Anyone besides me slowing down to Prolong Rides?

Yes & No - usually double-checking the fuel gauge if not topping off, ready for tomorrow's ryde (U-turn at the driveway) unless I have meet up plans for a group or something. As well as this: (for a laugh... but also true!) **don’t ever think you can just get gas on the way to work - you...

How do you mange riding a Spyder and a motorcycle?

Getting back to it as just found replacement carb on bike was down for 2y:gaah: semi beginner feeling, more just caution reacquainting with machine sounds & feel. First tank gas -all city under 60mph. Still got other items inspecting & evaluating.** before carb issue would try alternating 1...

Any ideas on getting my 2024 RT Ltd Automatic Volume Control working?

BRP defaults to: “see local dealer” & unfortunately seems like, makes it a hassle for them too. :banghead:

Is it Ok to use ethanol gas? Anyone have problems?

Helps as well as oil change before or after hibernation. Better IF can get stabilizers mixed in & enough time to actually be in fuel line/system -not just in tank. (IF) - no guarantees but does seem to help.

Is it possible to re-flash the Instrument Cluster firmware?

Ummm :hun: :dontknow: I thought only the ECU could be “flashed” for various fuel/air running & maybe shift point parameters prior to '18. The '18 to current “new” dash would need various updates to keep up with app support. :dontknow: :dontknow:

So, how fast can a spyder go and safely make a sharp right turn at an intersection?

Not to blow mind or anything.. actually muscles can ONLY pull  & can be considered a balance of both arms -maintaining control without accidentally pulling throttle, as well as controlling the lateral G-force will be feeling. :lecturef_smilie: Please do not attempt just upper body...

F3-T Stuck in First Gear (Ostensibly) and Won't Start?

Sounds like not stepping on brake when starting - then you interrupted attempts & unknowingly did step on the brake when you tried again; &/or you'd flipped the Kill Switch (it happens & it's an aggravation, foiling thinking clearly!) Glad it is now going for ya & your roadside troubleshooting...
