• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I personally don’t think that if Brp did something like this it would be harmful. Dealers routinely sell items at cost to entice customers return business and to get people in the showroom, etc.. I am fine waiting for my new bike to show up when it’s ready, and am also happy with the deal I made...

    One simple thing I’ve done with the trailer hooked to tow vehicle and if your trailer has a tongue jack, use it to raise the front of the trailer, and thus the rear of tow vehicle, up. This will lessen the incline of the ramp.

    What about offering the extended BEST warranty through the dealers at a fixed, at cost, price. That would reassure many new purchasers that BRP is standing behind the units and additionally would not harm the dealers.

    What type of trailer do you have? I ask because my 622 sits pretty level with the factory Brp hitch with no modifications.

    Another plus 1 on the Klim brand gear. Have had no issues with their jackets, pants etc… As other have noted, it is not inexpensive, but I felt well worth the money after having had it for several seasons and used in numerous conditions.

    My personal opinion is that sticker price is a good price right now. Doesn’t seem like there is much room if any to negotiate down. I think what you were quoted is a decent price. I pulled the trigger this year as I think prices for next year model will be going up.

    This is the first I’ve heard mention of multiple cylinders. Was it based on certain model trailer or date specific? Wonder what the difference is?

    Here’s a YouTube link for replacing the lock on the 622. It’s a bit more complicated without the key as you need to unlock the barrel in order to release it from the housing. You may need to enlist a locksmith to pick the lock. https://youtu.be/df6GC6dbo7M
