• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone using the updated BRP GO app?

Download the music to your phone, or some apps like Spotify you can download the music while on Wi-Fi so you don't use data during playback.

Anyone using the updated BRP GO app?

It works great for me. Be sure you have a data cable and not a charging cable. Also your phone has to be paired via Bluetooth or it will not connect.

Is BRP GO cell phone connection any improvement over BRP CONNECT?

I have had no issues using BRP Go with Sygic. However there are some phone setting (I use Android) that can give you grief. 1. Make sure that BRP Go is allowed to be on top. 2. Unlock Screen or the Screen lock is off. Make sure it does relock by setting the phone not to lock while plugged in...

When & what's needed for first Oil Change? 2022 RTL

I would recommend to have the dealer do the first oil change as they should also go back over the pre sale inspection to make sure everything is still good, after that do it your self unless you plan on doin the inspection and adjustments your self as well but you will probably need a manual for...

    Review: BRP Go! is going...going...GONE!!

BRP Go is not made by BRP but a software company that makes these connect products for other motorcycles as well. BRP does not have anything to do with the way the apps work on the bike but rather the application developers that do the interfacing with BRP Go. Other issues are related how the...

Where do you carry your Spare key?

There are several places you can hide a key. Some people have a non-chipped key somewhere easer to get to and the chipped key some place harder to get too. You could have a non-chipped key taped to the back of the glove box when pulled out as long as you do not plan to lock your handle bars as...

How should I connect Sena to BRP Go?

You don't use BRP Go for phone and music. That just connect to the bike via Bluetooth. You only use BRP Go to display the apps on the screen. Make sure you remove the pairing between the helmet and phone. Then pair your phone and helmet to the bike.

I don't know about buds and I use buds 2 on my bike and I believe buds 2 is backwards compatible. On buds 2 you can click each module and if there is a firmware update the update will be listed. There will be a flash icon on the module too to indicate a flash update. I do not know about your...

BRP Go disconnecting about 10 minutes into the ride

I don't know about an IPhone but Android the battery saver puts apps to sleep. I had to make sure BRP Go and associated apps like Sygic are set to never sleep in the battery manager to stop that from happening.

BRP GO/Connect & my helmet communicator

You only need the BRP Go App running and the USB cable if you are going to display the app data on the dash. For music only, you just need Bluetooth connected to the bike. There is a steep learning curve for each app and joy stick controls to use them but once you get used to it they work great...

What computer do I need to run BUDS/BUDS2?

The laptop cannot be too old. I had an older laptop and got a warning that my laptop may not work and it did not. You will need two USB ports and a USB Male To Male cable if you want to do updates on the dash.

When I am on a long trip I tape it to my inside my right side panel (2021). You can pop it off with the seat down. I also keep a non chipped key taped to the back of the glove box when pulled out so that it hidden when it is in place. This is handy to get in to the frunk when you lock your key...

Any way to connect an Ipod thru the USB on a new RT?

Use the 3.5mm jack, or some music apps such as Spotify allows downloading of play lists so that you can listen to your music while not connected to a network so you might want to check your music app and see if that option is available to you.
