• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone tried "Speed Bleeders" brake bleeders?

Put speedbleeders on my RT this year and I just wish I had known about them earlier. My brakes have never been this easy to bleed.

The compressor on 2012 RT doesn't run - any fuse? Where?

Acccording to my Norwegian manual, the fuse is in the frunk and a 20A fuse located at number 8 on the picture. I had to change my compressor nearly two years ago, but the compressor was still turning. On my 2012 it was the counterweight that had broken off from the piston rod. Hope it is...

    3 days - two hotels - 472 miles and my 2012 RTS

Ty sir and it was. Hope you make it over here sometime. Lillehammer is famous for being the host of the 1994 winter Olympics, and the local community still benefit from it. Many Norwegians emigrated to America due to bad times over here way back, my wife has family in Minnesota somewhere.

    3 days - two hotels - 472 miles and my 2012 RTS

Finally, a couple of days with some blue sky and warm weather, so the wife and I sat down with Google maps and planned a road trip. Decided we would go West first, then head inland for some mountain roads, before setting the course for home. First destination was "Byrkjedals tunet" a group of...

Bright Headlights Daytime Yes or No

I mounted extra LED lights to be seen during daytime riding, they are really bright, and I think they are really making me noticed. The high beams are making onward traffic flashing me back, so I never use them at daytime.

Off to "Blefjell" camping site in Norway on my RTS

My wife took the ferry to Denmark together with a woman she used to work with before retiring, so I decided to take off a couple of days on the Spyder. Booked a small cabin on a campsite and used that as a base for roundtrips in the area. I have never been in that part of Norway before, so I was...

    Spyder Sightings

A kind of sighting... A friend of mine lent me a new book he had bought; "Norway's Best MC Tours" and said I would be interested in one page at least. So I started reading and there it was, a very familiar Spyder RTS 2012 and my wife standing beside it! As there are not too many Spyders in...

Fitted New Rotors and Pads, now there's weird wear marks! Is this normal?

I resently changed all my brakepads and for the first time I followed Peters instruction. My brakes have never been better and the disks looks like the pads have full width contact

Parking brake not working - what's the process to adjust? Does this look right?

I drew on your picture of the switch. The bent metal should be straightened out so the little wheel on it will roll on the angled part when actuated. That will make it move upwards and actuate the little knob by the arrow and stop the brake motor. Hope my English is understandable. And it...
