• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How does the Frunk Cable Mount come out - Frunk End?

Some time ago I broke the cable that opens the frunk and am working thru getting it open. Referring to the Frunk end of the cable. The cable enters a bracket and has a threaded adjuster with a lock nut. Does anyone know if the lock nut has to come off to pop the cable adjuster out of the...

Why recall on 2015-2019 pulleys only?

Good question. Later models than the 2019 are also having the pulley replaced, but as most here in Oz come with 3yr warranty I guess that's why they aren't in the list.

Any suggestions for replacement Front shocks?

I have fitted Wilbers all round on my '17TRL and a mate went with the Elka's on his '14RTL. They have been one of the best investments for the RT, and once you chose you'll wish you'd done it sooner. I don't know your riding style, but if your budget allows I'd do all corners.

The Truth about LED bulbs - Don't Buy LED Bulbs Before Watching This!

This clip echos some of the issues I found. I investigated many many brands/types and tried a few brands of LED but none did the job. Even some of those recommended as suited to Spyders don't really do that much better. Some things I learnt Some drivers simply wont fit inside the sealed...

Fuel (GAS) price where you live

This week I took a trip from my home town to the dealership in our State capital Sydney. I paid $1.99.9 for 98 Octane, in Sydney $2.41.3 160km away - these prices make little sense to mem but judging by the response, I am not alone

What a process I have started, why oh why?

Put the tools down and go inside, get pen and paper. Write down the original list you planned to do in the 1st place Go back to the garage with the list - leaving the pen behind. remove any writing implements from the garage in case you are tempted to edit the list. Resume working as per the...

    2020/21 redesigned front drive sprocket

I agree Blueknight911. All that comes to mind is one of my favourite sayings when it comes to BRP and the front pulley - to Err is human, but to maintain that Err for 5+ years takes real incompetence.

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

Depends on what time and what is happening. "RTL" - when she is behaving "Bitch" - when I am doing something like changing the headlight bulb that requires a hand the size of a 3 month old baby with 4 elbow joints to replace "Sh&t box" - when something fails like the front drive pulleys

HowTo: Epic 2019 Spyder F3-S!! • Shawn Smoak on the White Front Pulley!

I'm losing faith in Shawns expertise. I am concerned he won't criticise BRP when its valid. He says that the pulley only wears for those towing too much load when this vid was posted. We know that to be not the case given the many examples I've seen and seen posted on this and other forums...

Fuel (GAS) price where you live

That's a good idea, I use an app here in Australia that is incredibly accurate with current prices. On a side note, yesterday two Gas Stations 300 metres apart $1.93 / L the 2nd $2.14 - Jeez that extra 300 metre freight cost must be a killer

Is your spyder shaking, start with the belt tensioner. Now on to Tires!

HI BayoumanPIBE. I bought a new 2017 RTL and from the get go it had lots of issues and co-incidentally vibration and wandering were some of the symptoms I was having. Unfortunately for me the dealership was the cause of some, others part failure, others ditching the OEM gear like you. I'll...

Fuel (GAS) price where you live

Yes very 'interesting' isn't it. Something happens anywhere and fuel jumps asap. Factors change that should see the rise reversed and I am yet to see if drop as fast as it climbs

Okay today I think my No.2 hate has struck Young women in small cars working their mobile, and doing their Lippy/hair/Nails/Pedicure/Waxing/Moisturising while driving behind you at 110Kms/hr + and repeatedly coming close to running up my derriere, then when I let her pass having the audacity to...
