• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Securing Handicap Placard on Spyder

Plates are the only way to go. Anything loose will eventually be stolen. I had my first tag stolen in Yuma AZ. I have H/C plates on all my vehicles including my motorhome. No extra charge other than the initial plate. Jack

    Can-Am's position on tires

This is probably the best explanation I have read yet. I have always used Kendas and had very good service with them. Jack

Satellite radio on a 2012 RT Limited

On my 665 I pay about $10 a month to get XM, Weather and Traffic. Same as my cars. It is simply an add on to my Sat data Plan. No cell towers necessary. Sirious XM. Jack

Satellite radio on a 2012 RT Limited

Few people knew this ever existed. Most came standard with the 660. the 660 did not have XM capabilities. I have the 665, "hockey puck" XM receiver and the wiring harness. This works in conjunction with your standard radio controls. Works great. Search previous posts about this. Too bad Garmin...

    Well, I have a price

Now that would be considered a good deal. Who did you purchase it from? Jack

    Well, I have a price

I tried to buy from them at the first of the year. My price was without all the "Mickey Mouse" charges of dealer prep, freight, documentation, washing the windshield, kicking the tires and rubbing Tea Tree Oil on the handle bars etc. Well you get the jest of it. If I recall the price was around...

Is this expensive for an Extended Warranty?

Better check your Spyder deal also. Hope it is not Ride Now Sports. They are the worst and biggest rip offs in the business. At least get another quote on the Spyder to compare. The warranty is laughable. If you are sure you need one get the BEST extended warranty. I never get an extended...

We are all waiting to hear how your registration with I-Motorsports and the state of California worked out. Has it been solved and if so how? We would all like to know. Jack

Anyone seen the 2021 Sea To Sky yet?

Just wandering what is the difference in it vs a RTL. The color sure turns me off. The only color I could find was the weird green. Are there others. Jack

    teardrop camper

Actually I think, he was "pulling your leg" Steve. I would consider pulling "Fido" in it. We could then share it at night. *no heat needed". With the shape and side vents I think this would be safe IMO. (for a pet, not the "Misses") Jack

    teardrop camper

If I were a few years younger I would order one today. I like it a lot and am sure there are a lot of potential buyers out there. Remember price is in Canadian dollars. not sure of the exchange rate today but should be less in U S dollars. Jack

    Do it yourself Alignment?

Ouch! Well anyway I have had considerable experience observing Ann and Joe Meyer, the owners of Squared Away do over 100+ alignments here in Tucson at my Hanger on several occasions. The best thing to watch is the smile and gratitude of those customers after alignment and test run. This includes...

Having a problem getting registered in California.

Order for the CARB each and every year for each model is mind boggling. CA delayed this and BRP got anxious to ship so shipped with exception to these early models. That being said I Motorsports should have received a "warning bulletin" specific to this shipment. BRP knows full well they ship to...

Having a problem getting registered in California.

I agree, This is something that I Motorsports should have caught for a sale to CA. All dealers were notified about this delay and accepted these Spyder's knowingly. It was probably an early production and BRP had not received Executive Order on the CARB. This is done for specific years each...

    Any aftermarket seat shock/struts??

Be careful not to get one too strong. I have a 2014 RT Limited. Shortly after purchase I got a Denver Sheepskin fitted sheepskin cover. It had a backrest on it when purchased new from Dealer. (DEMO) With the combination the stock gas strut was not strong enough to raise the seat--so purchased a...
