• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2024 RTL display and other items failed

HaHa.. I installed a battery tender connection yesterday on my brand new 2024 Sea to Sky (29 miles). I noticed the battery was some cheap chinese brand too :-( but it did say 21aH. And I got the U0155 code "lost communication with the instrument cluster" in the settings on the dashboard...

New Owner of a 2022 Spyder RT - Trying to decide on navigation aids?

Yea I keep forgetting that you can download the maps and turn directions from Google Maps. That does work... Regarding the people asking about the Spyder at every gas stop. ....cant say that as happened for me...I would not mind at all .....but we do get some looks as we have a 2023 Sea to Sky...

More 2024 RT Limited Issues - Heated Passenger Handgrips not working!

Jusy picked up a brand new 2024 Sea to Sky, Sat, March 16th. Was told the dealer would contact me when the update to make Carplay work comes in. NO time frame given. BTW the driver's seat back rest is adjustable, just like all other Spyder RT's... two notches on the seat post for height...

    Nitpicking the 2024 RT

Thanks! Another question... is there an adjustment for the back rest? This is on my new 2024 Sea to Sky with the matching S2S back rest. IIRC, the older BRP back rests, like the one I put on my 2023 Sea to Sky, had a screw to adjust the rake of the back rest, so that it could lay flat against...

    Nitpicking the 2024 RT

Ah... thank you very much for the quick primer. That is different.... lol. I'm gonna make the dealer pair the Samsung to the bike. After watching that, I will pair up my Sena 50S comms. Don't have Apples so lack of Carplay is not an issue. Does Google Maps work well with the new 2024's?

    Nitpicking the 2024 RT

I'm picking up a new 2024 Sea to Sky today in Cartersville GA. Will give my impressions and thoughts after the 40 mile ride home. Seems as if the new controls may be a bit different than my 2019 RT Limited or my 2023 Sea to Sky...

Issues with Kenda Tires or Not?

Yeah the folks at BaJaRon's place are great. Daniel installed the ultimate sway bar on my wifes brand new 2023 Sea to Sky as well as installing F3 handlebars that came back further to my wife who has shorter arms. I also picked up a BRP jacket from them too. service was great and all the folks...

Are you happy with your aftermarket CAR tires?

i used the Continentals on the front of my 2019 RT L the kendas had about 10 oz of wieght on each .:helpsmilie:..my mechanic thought it was due to some slight out of round tires. Could be it did ride a bit lumpy..the new Contis took less than 1 oz each and the bike rides much smoother.

To do….or not to do? Should I replace these BEFORE they fail?

Safety will always dictate having spares on hand. But that also requires knowledge and tools to get the job done right.......

Getting 2021 F3 Ltd in March... looking for mod/accessory suggestions?

Yeah lots of people will chime in here. But here is my take........... 1. First mod we did on the 2023 Sea to Sky we picked up in September.....BaJaRon Ultimate Sway bar. 2. Get the bike laser aligned by a reputable servicer. Do not skip this :-) 3. I would advise getting the correct back...

Atlanta, GA Spyder maintenance - they won't work on bikes over 10 years old!

Patrick, I never take either of my spyders to MMS in Marietta. MMS in Conyers isnt much better either. I have had terrible service experience from MMS in Marietta. Including oil dripping from the machine after a oil change which they charged me for $350. I finally wised up after takng the 2019...
