• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Using 4 FOBO TPMS senders to monitor the tires + ACS too!

Interesting. I thought I tried that and it didn't work for me, so I thought that they actually had to be on a tire that has "some" pressure to read in order to pair them to the app. Thanks for the suggestion.

I agree with you 110%. I am waiting for battery/cell technology to catch/step up to the point when it becomes feasible.

Using 4 FOBO TPMS senders to monitor the tires + ACS too!

I had a really hard time pairing the Fobo to the rear tire. Couldn't figure a way to get the phone close enough to the stem to make the connection. What I had to so was to mount the rear Fobo to one of the front wheels and faked the software to think it was the rear wheel. When finally...

Another Dealer Drops the Spyder Line

My local dealer seems to be doing OK. They have done services my 2014 RT a few times already without any glitches. They also install after-market parts if I bring them in. So far, so good, but keeping fingers crossed that this will not change. The dealer has 3 or 4 locations in Ohio. One of...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I had a Lamonster's NBV Highway Pegs Black Dymond LRG (Black) Gripper installed. Rode about 100 miles on highway and it made a world of difference. Can't wait to go on a long ride to test them out even more. - All nice upgrades. BTW: Thank you for your service! Ride safe. I have a very...

Damaged a Rim on my F3L when we hit about a 4" rock that slid off of a rock wall by the road - afraid to ask what a new rim will cost!?!

I ran over a fallen tree on the freeway and broke a large chip off my wheel. $500 later, I had a new wheel. I also had to buy a new tire, which brought the damage to ~$650 all in. I also didn't report it to my insurance company for same reasons mentioned above. Also sustained damage to my wheel...

First time installing battery in a 1330 - couldn't get top bracket right!

I wish I would have read this post prior to removing that damn plate which, for the life of me, I can not get back on. Gave up before storing my bike for the winter. Will try agin in the spring.

What iPhone phone app do you use to plan & track your trips?

I've been using Scenic app for about 4 years now. Happy with the app and its functionality. Also use Waze running in the background during rides to have a better shot of knowing where the speed traps are. https://scenicapp.space/viewRide.php?rid=bRYEuOsL

What Communication devices do you use between rider/pillion & other riders in your group?

I ride with a group of folks and we all use Cardo. I had the BOLD but last year upgraded to the EDGE. There is a big (good) difference after the upgrade. Everyone in the group has commented how much clearer my voice has become after the upgrade.

Where is the best spot for Jack placement?

I too own the FOBO. Have it on all my bikes. The pain comes when you have to remove the sensors to add air.
