• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There are a bunch of products that will clean leather/vinyl, and some for black plastic . Hit you local Walmart, AutoZone, or Advance. You don't want anything to make ur seat slick.

Make sure your coolant is topped off. If it get very low, it plays heck with the sensors.

How straightforward is an ST's Coolant change?

My memory fails me, but I think the 998 used a different coolant than 1330. Would think tho, that if you give the bike a good flush, you could use a long term fluid. I use Dex-cool for topping off as my dealer tec said that is, essentially, what BRP uses.

How to reduce the loud knock when you put it in first gear?

Same here; its a challenge trying to ''beat the system". Just to clarify any misconception in my thread above when i said "have your thumb on the shifter.....", I meant to say be ready to press it the instant the motor starts.

How to reduce the loud knock when you put it in first gear?

2Dogs: thanks for feedback. Been trying to fig this out on mine and have found a procedure that worked consequently the last five times it was started on today's ride. Upon stopping I leave it in 1st gear (not sure this has to do with anything; just the way I did it today). Upon cranking...

Anyone use Flowgenix on their Spyder?

I used it on everything: plastic, black parts, windshield, etc. Does not whiten out. McQuires also make a similar product, but don't recall the version. Have to read the small print to find it.

Want a lower shipping rate/cost to get seat fm TX to ID?

Windshields are another high cost item to ship. I have a couple of Jurock's that were too short for me, but the cost of shipping is prohibitive.

I haven't done it yet on mine, but I'm a big fan of J.B. Weld and have some in my shop. That stuff drys hard as a rock. I am confident if you take the screw out and fashion a big gob of JB Weld on the head to suit your fancy it will work. Am going to do mine tomorrow or next day. Did this...

D.I.Y. oil change o ring kit

If any of you are regulars at your dealer try asking the mechanic if he has any to spare. Sometimes they seem to have extras!! Like many others, I don't change mine out very often.

Time to make a decision - will I regret upgrading to 2021 RT Ltd?

Backlighting: Dealer near me has a couple of '22 RT's without the trunk. I fell in lust just because it was newer, more seat room, long floorboards, and my fav color Silver. But then, like you, I worried if I sold my F3T , I might not like the RT as well. Finally got over the notion, I...
