• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here's my Can-Am-pedia - I hope it helps to collect and share info about the Can‑Am On-Road universe.

Daniel - I've only looked at the Spyder section, but I'm very impressed by the amount of information, but I did notice an error. In the Instrumentation page's "4th Generation (2024…)" section the sub-sections on Connectivity and Navigation you mention BRP Connect and BRP GO!. Those don't...

You should considering posting the dates of the route, section by section. You might find others willing to meet up with you for a section near them. (y)

Anybody see a measurable change in fuel mileage with larger diameter rear tire?

I have been thinking about this, and think I found a way to get close to 40 mpg. I have a 2023 Honda Ridgeline truck, a Stinger CAN-AM trailer, and of course my 2024 Spyder RT S2S. I track the fuel mileage on my Ridgeline, and usually get 21 to 22 mpg. I know that the fuel mileage will go down...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

CAN-AM added the ability to connect to a Wifi network in 2024. I've updated my 2024 Spyder RT a couple of times using my home Wifi network. To get updates for your 2023 you'll need to visit someone who has a BUDS license, like a CAN-AM dealer.

Here's some Weird Misinformation about Spyder RT's!!

I think they just get chased by police more frequently since red is more "visible". 😁

What trunk organizer works best for a 2025 Spyder RT LTD?

Okay, I understand what you're looking for now. A bit of time with Google, and I think a "sun visor organizer" might fit with what you want. I found this site, which has a bunch of different sizes: https://overlandgearguy.com/collections/visor-organizers It's HUGE, as in almost too big. The...

What trunk organizer works best for a 2025 Spyder RT LTD?

I bought the CAN-AM luggage set for my 2024 Spyder RT Sea2Sky. The set I bought is four pieces: a roller case that fits the front trunk; two small bags that fit the side cases; and one bag that fits the top case behind the passenger seat. Top case bag...

Anybody see a measurable change in fuel mileage with larger diameter rear tire?

But how much more does the larger tire cost than a normal sized tire? And what kind of fuel mileage increase would be required to offset that cost over the life of the bigger tire?

Does anyone know of the amp draw of the stock horn on the RT? - 2012 RT

The Operator's Guide for my 2024 Spyder RT Sea2Sky shows the Horn fuse as being 15A. If you don't have the Acrobat PDF version you can download one here for the US versions: https://www.operatorsguides.brp.com/P/5

Which is the correct Backrest Part Number for my 2023 F3-T?

I would trust the part number from CAN-AM.

Has anyone ever mounted the transponder part of a key next to the ignition to bypass DESS?

I'm not sure why you would want to do this. It doesn't make it any simpler to start your bike.

After a comparison of the Stinger trailer vs the Roadstar Foldable Trailers - anyone/any info?

Interesting, especially since Slingmods sells both the Stinger and the Roadstar. Looking at the specs, the trailers weigh the same (555 lbs), but the Stinger is rated to carry more weight. Both are rated to carry more than double the weight of a Spyder RT Sea2Sky.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Renewed the Spyder's vehicle registration online. Printed the receipt and put it in the zippered documents folder in the top case. I should received the updated sticker and official registration document in a week or so.

    'The Lamonster Chronicles'

I remember having to take mine in to get it "smog" tested. I pulled into the shop, turned it off and opened the engine hatch. The tester looked at the engine and said "Hmmm...it looks like you have one too many carburetors." But he still hooked up the cables, then had me start the engine. If...

Probably a stupid idea - thinking I might go from a 2018 F3 Ltd to an RTL S2S - am I crazy and should just keep what I have?

I bought Meticulous Matte products from chemicalguys.com to care for my 2024 Spyder RT S2S, which is matte white. https://www.chemicalguys.com/search?q=meticulous+matte
