• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Quatrac 5 - 155/60R15's no longer available? What size will fit a '20+ Spyder?

I can only find 165/60R15 Vrederstein Quatrac; I cannot find a 165/55R15 Vrederstein Quatrac. Will this 60-profile tire fit on a 2021 RT base for the front tire?

Most amount of miles/KM you have ridden in one day on the Spyder

I live in New Jersey, and I bought my 2021 RT Base in Talladega AL on June 18-19, 2022. I flew into Alabama and drove the RT back home overnight. On the way, I stopped by my son's house in the morning, in Maryland, took him out to breakfast, then took the Lewes Ferry to Cape May NJ, then home. I...

Is there a more affordable FOBO Replacement? Or a fix for broken senders?

Buy a pack for two wheels, this way you have a spare. To add the replacement, hold the tire in the app to release the bad sensor that was programed, then add it like it was a new sensor.

HowTo: Adding a FOBO sensor to the Air Shock if you already have an existing Profile

This is for those who already have the FOBO app with a Profile. Buy the FOBO for a 2-wheel bike for $100, the reason being that it will cost $75 for one sensor anyway, so buy 2 and you'll have a spare, or you can sell it for $50. You will need to find the FOBO Trike set up with the Air shock...

Hear, Hear! Do you wear ear plugs if your helmet doesn't cover your ears?

I have a full helmet, if I am only doing about 40-50 MPH on the short rides I don't use ear plugs. On the longer rides I do 70+ MPH, so I like them when that wind gets loud.

Watch out for Wrong thread castle nuts in BRP Trailer Hitch parts bag!

I bought a BRP Trailer Hitch last week. While installing the long axle bolt, I noticed the thread on the bolt and the castle nut threads did not match. So I went to Home Depot and found a nut that fits for now (Not a castle nut) on the axle bolt. The correct nut is a 12 x 1.25, the castle nut...

New Owner of a 2022 Spyder RT - Trying to decide on navigation aids?

I bought a Garmin 396 several years ago, although many feel you don't need a GPS and they use their phone, there are some places you don't have cell service. So I would suggest both, your phone and a Garmin GPS.

Has anyone with a '21+ Spyder got a Baja Ron anti sway bar? Worth it?

I have a 21 RT also I thought I did not need it, but, I did buy one for my RT and it makes the bike feel like it is on rails when you turn. If you get one you will not regret it. There are many riders here will tell you they love it!

Think of changing from a Freewheeler - is the Spyder any easier &/or safer?

I had a freewheeler, I could not stop the buffeting, I sold it and got another Can Am, an RT this time. It is 1000% safer than the Freewheeler. If you test ride one, you will buy it.

Choosing between Spyder or Tri-Glide? Drawbacks for either?

If you just go in a straight line; if you like to shift; if you like an electric motor for reverse; if you like the roar of the motor; if you like to pay 2 times as much as a Cam Am Spyder, Get the Triglide... If you like going fast in the twisties; if you like power steering and no clutch; if...

I would never but an electric bike or car , Battery replacement cost and range are a turn off. My brother in law bought an electric car and had the battery replaced by the dealer twice, once because of a fire risk and for a faulty part in the battery pack. And if you get in to an accident...
