• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Let’s start a fad - passing Spider Rings (from Amazon) to other Spyders

Gremlin Bells on both the 2014🕷️and the poor, old, slow V-Max. Where would you put a ring and is there any history behind it????

What is this part and where does it go?

The area under the seat on my 2014RT used to suck up plenty of road dust. I filled all the holes with bits of open cell foam and the under seat area stays clean... Lew L

    Random thought for the day

I think that the original is the BEST.

Just found these RPM levels for the 1330

Love the feel of the Spyder "coming on the cam" so to speak. The ECU flash gives good power and kept in the right rev range, my Spyder is NOT down on power (intake and exhaust mods help also). I've also recently added a fuel injector cleaner to my poor old slow Dodge Hemi and now to the Spyder...

What are your thoughts on Magic Mirrors or Magnetic Mirror mounts for a 2016 RT Limited?

Magic Mirrors are GREAT. Whoever designed the mirrors on the early Spyders should be tarred and feathered. Lew L

My first really, really close call on the Spyder

At your suggestion, I watched some Fridays with Frank videos. Sometimes us humans are really stupid.

87 Octane seems to work just fine

With my Stage 1 tune, intake, and exhaust mods, I'll stick with 91 octane thank you very much. I do like being able to show the other Spyders around here my taillight

    Ryde to Bishop

My wife and I rode to Bishop, CA on Monday and returned today (Wednesday). Down and back on Hwy 395. Tops out about 8000 ft at Deadman's Summit. Beautiful ryde, not hot in the high country. The Spyder ran perfectly at 40 mpg. Lew L

Where are you from? Where do you live?

Pros: In the forest above Reno, Nevada, moments from my driveway are the Sierra Nevada passes. (MANY to choose from) Great summers up here, 5700 ft. Winters aren't that cold compared to some. It's 12 minutes to Mt. Rose/Ski Tahoe, still skiing at 78 years young. (46 days last winter). Many...

    Define "Old"

Well, I'll be 78 in a couple of months and looking forward to the upcoming ski season. Did 46 days last year and would like to match that this year. Mike (@BLUEKNIGHT911) and I tried to match up ski days. I still ride the poor, old, slow, V-Max when I'm out by myself. The Spyder is for my wife...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Have you been out to 'The Lost Coast" yet?? It's stunning. BTW: My dad was a Coasty at the beginning of WW ll. Mom was an Army Nurse, half-brother was Navy, I was US Army.
