• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    . Worked on the cat delete I purchased from a friend who never installed it. Enlarged the holes in the baffle a little. and welded it in place as I don't trust the screw. installation is next. Any tips on the cat install?? Lew L

    . Vibration KILLS batteries. The battery may show 12+ volts, but it will not flow enough AMPERAGE to run much on the Spyder. Could be ':a cracked cell connector or sulfates falling to the bottom of the case. Just something else to try..... Lew L

    . Preped the :spyder2: for a ryde to Ebbitts pass for lunch. Hope to get a few more to ryde this steep and very twisty road up the east face of the Sierra Nevada mts. I do feel so much more confident on the :spyder2: with all the switchbacks and gravel .

    . Had them for years. Never removed them. A cover is on the :spyder2: when overnighting. Sometimes I put mine on the poor, old, slow V-Max as my butt has not conformed to the Corbin brick. nojoke Lew L

    . Aligned the drive belt on a Battle Born Spyder buddies ryde. Poorly done tire replacement by a local dealer as sprocket was also not spinning true. Also repaired a sloppy job on the aftermarket muffler which was loose and floppy. Lew L

    . There are many more things on the road that deserve your concern. Pot holes, lumber, deer, distracted drivers, poor drivers, etc. Patched bikers are much more concerned about themselves than you and your wife putting about on your Spyder. Lew L

    2020 Top Box Will Not Remain Open - any solutions?

    . On my 2014 RTS , I simply drilled a new mounting hole for the factory strut about 3/4" above the OEM mounting hole. Problem solved, cost Zero.

    . Bought new push pins for the 2 very expensive panels on the 2014 (next to the front wheels). I recall reading on the forum about one of these falling off.

    I competed in gymnastics so long ago that speed rope climb was one of the events in team comp. Starting from a sit, no feet on the rope. world record ----- under 3 seconds. My best time ---- under 7 seconds. Lew L
