• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How can I tell the year of my Ryker?

I think "74 plate" means something different in the UK (registered between Sept 2024 & February 2025) than it does to us over here.

How can I tell the year of my Ryker?

Don't know about in the UK, but here in the USA my 2023 Ryker Rally did not have that small funnel either. And I have not had a need for it either.

    Welcome, dmorris29

Welcome to the forum, @dmorris29. I went from 2 to 3 at the same age and have been happy with the move. Though I do miss counter-steering through the twisties. Give the Ryker a test drive. I have been very happy with mine.

What do you think is the Best Full Cover For Travel? How big is the storage pouch?

I, too, use an UltraGard cover but the full version. I stuff in a mesh bag that's about 6" x 16" and strap to the top of my pillion bag when traveling. It could be compressed further if needed with a compression stuff sack.

Can You Tour on a Ryker?

Yes. Setup for my second 3,000 mile trip. A member here, @greer, has taken hers to Alaska and back. See my signature for what I have added. What is needed is really up to how you travel, minimalist or glamper. I'm kind of in between. Questions, holler.

Anyone recommend a Larger Wind shield for a Ryker?

You ask about a "larger wind shield", do you already have a smaller one? If so, which? I have the OEM sport and it works for me, but I like a little wind in the face. :)

Whose Ryker Air Filters Are You Using? OEM or which A/mkt equivalents?

I'm running the OEM style paper filter on the engine side. The Rally has a pre-filter on that side too (it's a bugger to clean). And I have the K&N CM-9910 on the CVT side.

Considering a Spyder - Can I Ask You Some Questions?

Yes. Departing on a 2700 mile, two week trip.

Bought some sway bar links from Ali Express - don't fit. Any UK Owners know a good supplier?

@stikflote, I'd contact Lamonster or BajaRon. I'm sure either would work with you and get you what you need. I have BajaRon's sway bar kit (it includes the links) and have been very happy with it.

Has anyone installed a Garmin XT2 and Touratech Lock with Helibars? Any pics? Will it fit?

Lots of info on the XT2 (as well as the XT, 595, 590, 660, etc.) here: https://www.zumouserforums.co.uk/index.php For me, I'm sticking with my 590.

Educate me on the reliability of the Rykers

2023 Ryker Rally purchased new. 3,400 +/- miles, most put on last year. No issues, though it did have a dead battery when I picked it up from the dealer. Prepping for another 3,000 mile trip.
