• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

NHTSA Campaign 26V575000 - 2025-2026 Spyder RT, F3, & Canyon freezing cluster fix issued

Down loaded the update V 6.1.0 Pressed the INSTALL UPDATE button. It grey out and did nothing for an hour. Bike is on the charger. Will try again later. I'm letting it sit with the key out, the charger disconnected, and I'll try again in half an hour.

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

Dang, this is going to be fun when I move to Washington, unless they recognize my Utah 3 Wheel trike training class certificate. The Licensing Bureau here in Utah have a problem. You only have to have a motorcycle endorsement to ride a trike. I already have one of those. But I took the trike...

Anyone else had to Insure their Spyder as a 2-wheel motorcycle? Any success changing its designation to a 3-Wheeler?

The other thing is when I took out the Progressive insurance, I did everything online. I keyed in the vehicle make and model as well as the VIN number. It recognized the make and model, though it lumps all RT's together LTD and S2S. It takes the VIN number so they cannot deny they don't know...

Anyone else had to Insure their Spyder as a 2-wheel motorcycle? Any success changing its designation to a 3-Wheeler?

I use Progressive. They cover my 2017 Range Rover, and also my Kendon trailer, and my 2026 Spyder Sea to Sky, whether on the trailer or the road. Quite a few companies didn't know how to handle the Spyder let alone the trailer with a Spyder on it, for that matter. Progressive knew what a Spyder...

    Tennessee Trip - I'm off to BajaRon's!!

These passes are the best value going. My wife and I have got more than our money's worth out it. Yes, we live in Utah so we have many national parks and national forests, so we are spoiled for choice on 3 wheels or 4.

    Ultimate Dealer GREED!

I think the BRP dealers are likely obligated under contract to sell these things at MSRP when performing a service? Perhaps the dealer isn't completely to blame here. Regarding Amazon and Partzilla, who knows what price they get the oil change kits from BRP? I suspect they aren't selling them...

2025 Spyder Sea 2 Sky - Where is the Dedicated GPS Power Plug-in?

I’ve upgraded this to use just one cable, a data cable and now just insert a data blocker when I just want USB power for charging and I’m not using CarPlay. Thanks to those who made the suggestion.

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

Well they did own the British Rover Cars Group for a while, hence they have the Mini brand. It’s a question of degree though. I once had an 1976 MGB GT V8 that leaked more oil than the Torrey Canyon. Despite the liberal coating of oil underneath, curiously, it still managed to rust though.

That M4, was it drifting or sliding on its own oil? Sorry, having had a couple of BMWs in the past, I just couldn't help myself.

Seriously though, I hope I've fulfilled His terms and conditions...

Will this mean we get a Fully automatic Spyder?

The extended warranty. The one thing I paid for that I hope I never have to use. Like insurance, especially life insurance...

Will this mean we get a Fully automatic Spyder?

I wonder if it adapts the shift points from the rate at which you open the throttle which is somewhat analogous to how my Range Rover works. It actually does it so, so seamlessly that I don’t even notice it happening unless I happen to really look for it. It would be interesting to see what...

Anyone else had an Oil Leakage Issue like this? - UPDATE

Perhaps it might be time to get an attorney involved. I hate involving attorneys in anything all the time I am getting reasonable responses from the manufacturer to back up their product, but I think you have been more than reasonable at this point. You have tried their low cost (to them)...

NHTSA Campaign 26V575000 - 2025-2026 Spyder RT, F3, & Canyon freezing cluster fix issued

Yes, I looked last night and V 5.1.0 was still current. I thought they might have posted the update in advance of the notice but it wasn't. I must admit I'm fortunate in not having any problems with the display on mine.

Anyone else had an Oil Leakage Issue like this? - UPDATE

I must admit, I was a bit worried about their solution, but you kind of think they must know what they are doing and that they have successfully done this before. I guess not. I think it's got to the state where an engine swap is in order. It's got to be simpler and much cheaper in warranty...

Here's a Simple Alteration to help your Lift Table suit a Spyder.

That is impressive. Which lift table is that/where did you get it? Is it compressed air driven? Thanks in advance.

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

I think my arthritic sorry old bod has gotten well past the hanging off stage, two wheels or three. The only way I'm getting my knee down any more is by chucking it up the road. Other than that, my Spyder absolutely refuses to spin up the rear, even one up, probably because of my lardy old self...

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

Does the WA State DOL require you to demonstrate this skill? Does a three wheel training course go into such techniques? I would have thought riding on public highways with a modern vehicle and all its electronic rider aids you would not realistically be able to repeat this maneuver. I’d have...

As a former Brit, with lots of British cars and motorcycles out on the road, beware of the oil spills.

    Ultimate Dealer GREED!

I had a V-10 Excursion back when. I'm glad I don't right now, though my Range Rover is barely better at 16 mpg on Premium. Towing that trailer, it did manage 6 mpg up here in the mountains.:(
