• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can I access all I need in BUDS2 on an ECM with a Dynojet PV4 custom tune?

I have BUDS1 and a PV4. BUDS will work fine with the tune installed, but there are some parameters that can be accessed by both programs. This could result in a mismatch between saved and installed tune files. Running diagnostics in BUDS shouldn't be a problem. I've reset the steering angle and...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I HATE those damn things. They're acidic and very bad for paint, and they taste horrible when they fly in your mouth. 🤢🤮

What did you do to your Spyder today?

My 2015 F3S has done the same thing. That foam is a gooey mess. So far I try not to touch it, but eventually I'll replace it with some foil-faced insulation that should hold up better.

Compile a list of BUDS owners who are willing to help, by location?

I have BUDS 1 and I'm in Central VA, Bedford County. I'm glad to help out anyone in the area whenever I can.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Where is this available? I hope they make these for the F3S.

Tire search - what is everyone going to these days?

My front Kenda Kanines came in yesterday. One OEM tire had 1/4 oz of weight while the other had a full 4 oz. Both ran smooth. The new Kanines look to be well made, and they feel pretty lightweight, which is a GOOD thing for a lightly loaded vehicle. I removed the old weights and cleaned...

2023 RT - What do you guys get for miles between Brake Pad Replacements?

I bought mine with just under 10k miles. The pads looked a bit thin, so I ordered as set of EBC pads. After comparing them, I realized I still had over half the pad thickness from new, so I hung the new pads on the wall and will wait until I need to change them. I'm at around 12.5k miles now...

    Random thought for the day

Actually, in many states, including mine, only one party needs to be notified that their call is being recorded. As long as they're in one of those states, they really are not obligated to tell you they're recording the calls.

Is this the VSS not working? Anyone experienced it before? What came of it?

Thanks, that's helpful. Does the ECO mode switch also enable the Sport mode?

Is this the VSS not working? Anyone experienced it before? What came of it?

My 2015 F3-S has most of those features you mentioned, such as the larger rear sprocket and lack of touring accessories. The horsepower rating has also remained unchanged from 2014 until today. I suspect the CKP and CMP sensors, TPS, as well as the temp, pressure sensors, and the fuel injectors...

Is this the VSS not working? Anyone experienced it before? What came of it?

Thanks Gwolf. I want that bad, but my 2015 is in such good condition, I just can't see trading up to a 2017 or later to get it. I wonder if the ECU from a 2017 could be swapped into my bike? I think the rest of the hardware is similar, with the gauge console being the most likely issue to...

Is this the VSS not working? Anyone experienced it before? What came of it?

My only "modes" are normal and eco. I never use eco. I've never seen a TC off indicator on my dash. Mine has the analog gauges. I don't ride on dirt, but I have enough power to easily smoke the tire in 1st or second gear, but the nanny steps in to cut the burnout short, especially if any yaw...

Is this the VSS not working? Anyone experienced it before? What came of it?

I disabled the pillion switch, as I didn't like the nanny being so intrusive when riding two-up. Yes, it is much easier to lift a wheel with a passenger, but I do it regularly solo as well. It's one of the few fun things the nanny will let you get away with. I really do wish it would let me get...

2010 RS SE5 with 300 miles. Yes, actually less miles on it, but it won't start! Please help...

I suspect your fuel injectors may be stuck. Try cranking a few times and pull the plugs. If they're dry, the injectors may be stuck closed. If wet with gas, they may be stuck open and flooding the bike. Once you do figure out the problem, if it was flooded, I'd change the oil before running...

Annoyingly, my '21 RTL will only cancel Cruise by touching the brake pedal or downshifting - are there any other ways?

Mine can be cancelled by tapping the brake, pulling the clutch lever, or flipping the cruise switch off.

    Finally got my Spyder!

I'd do the sway bar first. Just the end links will not make a noticeable difference. Second, I'd do the CAT delete. Mine sounds great with the stock muffler, it gets rid of a LOT of heat, and if you decide to tune, it increases performance a bit.

Doing some Toy Hauler Research - Anyone have any info or experience with these?

Many toy-hauler trailers seem to sit quite high, likely because of the holding tanks underneath. Even with a beavertail, the short ramp door is quite steep, and would likely cause difficulty with a Spyder. My 28' InTech ICON race trailer is much lower, and has an additional 4' ramp extension...
