• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    What Was Your First Motorcycle?

The first I rode on was a 1967 Triumph Bonneville or Daytona (can't remember.....it's an age thing). Was hooked from that day on. Bought an 1100 V-Star in 2005 but that was a bit too powerful for me.....then along came a:spyder2: in 2008.

USER NAMES/HANDLES - What does yours mean? Where did it come from?

I'm not creative. My sister started calling me GI Jane when I first joined the Army 32 1/2 years ago. Then came the movie...... It's easy for me to remember :joke:

    Disc'd by your riding buddies

In Alabama you have to wear a helmet, have a motorcycle endorsement on your license and have motorcycle insurance. I'd say it's a motorcycle.

    Roadster or Trike?

I agree with Scotty. The American Legion Riders have all the trikes, including the Spyder, in the back. Don't matter where I'm ryding....as long as I'm ryding

    Unsafe Ryder

I agree with LADD619. Any organized ryde should have a safety briefing. This type of unsafe ryding should have been addressed at the time. It reflects on all of us.

Scenic ride in upper Northeast Vermont!

Spyder ryding is great therapy. Your ride looks like it took you to some beautiful places. Times do seem to get tough; sometimes it helps to just count your blessings. Hope things start going your way. Your day will come.
