• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Kind of "Release" Did You Sign?

I've never done it, but I would assume is just a standard Release from Liability, which protects the dealership if you have a mishap and try to hold them culpable. Personally, I would never sign anything that voided any part of the warranty. Pam

    Adding to Switch Cluster

I bought this dual USB port for the switch cluster quite some time ago but never got around to installing it. I'm going to tackle it in the next few days. I realize I will have to remove the side panels. Will I need to remove the glove box to get under the cluster? What would be the best method...

    Great Service Great Product!

Lamont sent me a can of that stuff when I purchased my highway pegs from him. I haven't used it yet, since I have several cans of Original Bike Spirits on hand. I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for the reminder! Pam

DO NOT WAIT TO GET SQUARED AWAY!

They do it on the spot while you watch. It doesn't take long at all. It's a bit over $100 but I don't recall exactly how much. It's worth a ride to Vegas! Hey Kenn, if you want to take a ride to Vegas, I'm game. I'd love to visit Joe and Ann. Pam

Spyder vs Bike In The Comfort Stakes.

Sounds like you need to talk to BajaRon about a sway bar. Makes a world of difference. Pam

Spyder vs Bike In The Comfort Stakes.

I don't know that I'd agree with that. I did my first 1,000 mile Iron Butt on my Victory Vision and it was relatively comfortable (compared to some of the others in my group that were on Harleys). My second Iron Butt was on my RT, and I found it equally comfortable. I did each run in about 17...

DO NOT WAIT TO GET SQUARED AWAY!

:yikes: That's a lot of opportunity for the dealer to screw up a Spyder if they don't know what they're doing. Pam

This is what you DON'T do at the dragon!!!

His mistakes are very apparent, starting with excessive panning for the camera instead of looking ahead and preparing for the upcoming curve. His speed was too high, causing him to have to fight the curve. It appears that he panicked when his bike began scraping, and he responded by reducing...

I got a small surprise when I took my front wheels off my RS.

That's how I've always removed my front wheels, loosen lug nuts on both sides before lifting. Pam

The Need for Speed just me or ?

I have the same problem. I've had three speeding tickets in my life, and they've all been on motorcycles. Haven't gotten one on my Spyder yet, but it's only a matter of time :riding: Pam

DO NOT WAIT TO GET SQUARED AWAY!

Glad you hear you are enjoying the smoother ride on the Spyder after getting the alignment. I had about 20,000 miles on mine when I met Joe and Ann. Great people, and you're right, Joe explains everything as he goes along. Mine was only slightly out of alignment, so I didn't notice a huge...

    Acknowledging Other Riders

That's true, but I wave to every oncoming motorcycle and don't get upset if they don't wave at me. I even wave to the motors (with more of a left handed salute than a wave), and they most always wave back. LEOs appreciate being acknowledged by citizens. Pam
