• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    recall

I have had to have the parking brake actuator motor replaced on my 14 RTS twice. Once at 11,000 and once at 31,000. Thanks to the factory warranty and then the Best warranty I have been covered!

    Crutches

How about if you mounted pvc pipe pieces on each side ( mounted to the Tupperware) as sleeves to receive your crutches. Angle the receivers/ sleeves so the bottom of the crutch rests on the floor board. Would have ave to place and angle them so they would not interfere with the handlebar...

Have you had your monthly ride yet.

-21 (Yes, minus) (F) in central Mass this morning. Even colder I hear in VT and NH. Even Mr. Gerbing's gear won't help right now!

    Battery Replacement - CCA's

That's what I've been doing... planning a spring trip and figured I would change it out before it gives me any trouble.

    Battery Replacement - CCA's

This is probably one of those topics like oil and tires that will raise all sorts of opinions... but, what should the minimum Cold Cranking Amps be for an RT when looking for a new battery? I have a 2014 RTS, and have never had any issues with the battery, but approaching four years old, I...

    Rivco hiway pegs

I have them, as well, and are very pleased with them. They give you a variety of mounting positions so you can find what fits for you.

Ride in Vermont yesterday in the NEK

I love to ride in Vermont... not to far from my part of Massachusetts. But you were right about yesterday. We were at an event at a local dealership and there was a big difference in weather from AM to PM!

    Magic Mirrors!!!

I installed mine on Sunday as well before a ride to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. I am another satisfied customer too! What a GREAT product. Even when I missed swerving around one of the Massachusetts spring road-craters, the mirrors never moved... no vibrations - nothing. WooHoo!

Helmet Storage (when not in use)

It depends. Right now in winter storage it is in Frunk and Spyder is covered. During riding season it is usually either on the seat or the chin bar hangs from an "L" hanger on the wall of the garage.

    Cyber-attacks...

It's like the "Men in Black" scene where Will Smith says to Tommy Lee Jones, "Hurry, the earth is going to be destroyed in an hour!" And Tommy-Lee's response is, "The earth is going to be destroyed in an hour every day." We're always under cyber attack, just today they've been a little more...

Corbin Seat and Backrest question (on an RT)

Recently put a Corbin seat on my RT. Would like to hear from anyone that has the seat -- with a backrest. I have not bought a backrest (yet) and my wife said to make sure it can be easily taken off when she rides. Would like to hear from any of you who have the seat/backrest combo. Thanks Bob

    Compressor blown

My 2014 RTS had its replaced this spring... 15,000 miles. Got very loud for a while when trying to work, got the orange screen as I was headed down the Garden State, then failed. I do not think it is a direct heat issue related to the 2013's -- sounds more like a design/quality issue on the...

    I love my Spyder!!!!

Best choice I ever made... and it was a fluke that my wife and I demo'd one. We were looking for something specific (not mentioning brand) and the dealer did not have the model I wanted. They had Spyders and I asked my wife if she wanted to try one out since we were there. About 10 miles into...

    Northern NY Road trip

Definitely Whiteface Mountain. We were up there during Americade. What a view! No matter where you go in the Adirondacks it is a great ride. There has been a good amount of road construction over the past few years and most of the roads are in good shape too. While in the Whiteface area...

Vee Rubber VTR-350 Arachnid Touring Rear Tire

I just ordered one to be installed next week. Earlier in the Spring V-rubber came out with version V35004 which has a weight rating of 80H (Almost 1,000 pounds - which is more than their older version and the Kendra). When I first called the dealer said it was not on their screen to order, so...

Once you have disassembled the body panels once it really is not difficult... and I am not a mechanic by any means! Here is a video that Shawn Smoak did: Good luck.
