• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Stranded by DESS Check Key - any fix besides towing?

It's the BATTERY, when you get crazy screens and DESS key check. Machine probably still has the cheap Chinese battery in there. Get the better YUASA battery, 350 cold cranking amps is best. Sometimes after a battery rests a bit, it might start up, or it might not, as you have experienced. But...

New Vredestein Tires wearing on the inside - what pressure/what fix? Alignment issue?

With this alignment issue, when you go into curves you would have to constantly move the handlebars to steering and maintain the curve correctly. With a good alignment it is much more smoother. This is what you would have been experiencing, but might be hard to notice until corrected

the 1mm is working fine. If you try to go to 2.5mm, just might try to rub on the LEFT side of FRONT pulley, so be careful. You'll have to pull off side cover to view front pulley, or look up from underneath. That might be a problem

the sprocket edge has a slight angle to keep belt from riding UP. So the gap on top will be a smidge wider than down at the teeth. That is where the credit card gap should be checked. IF the belt is riding too hard on side flange, it will squeal!!!

I ride my Honda NT700V all the time for work commute. A rough split between Spyder and 700 is Spyder = 5,000 miles and 700 is 20,000 miles per year. I don't have a problem remembering which one I'm riding with correct inputs from my brain or muscle memory to do correct things. A little...

Is it Ok to use ethanol gas? Anyone have problems?

Can use ethanol gas whenever you want. Just longer time inactivity can make it go bad. So at anytime can switch back and forth. It's switching between 87 and 93 octane the ECM has to adjust. I use 10 % ethanol 87 octane all the time
