• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I updated OTA software/firmware on my 2024 S2S - anyone else seen the back-up camera option?

@jzeiler that looks like a three wire plug. Def not a RCA video type but - Aside: I note the black plastic housing has printed words on it. JPN ST?xxx and HITCH. Never been under there so <dontknow> Looks like you have a different plug in to the hitch harness too?

Stuck on '24 RT-L 10.25" Navigation applet screen - anyone else had this happen?

Here it is, a year from the release of 2024 Spyders with the new style cluster into the wild... and we still have freezing issues with the damn cluster, poor connectivity to Apple phones, WIFI, and ACP that works only intermittently, along with non erasable codes and screen blackouts.. IIRC...

Will 2023 S2S accessories work on my 2024 RT?

Just an update; but the cluster software is now on V3.1.0. That update is available via OTA. I did mine last week. Before - WIFI stable and connected once then connected to phone once and stayed on that. After - WIFI connects and disconnects repeatedly to WIFI then my phone... ad nauseum.

I updated OTA software/firmware on my 2024 S2S - anyone else seen the back-up camera option?

For those who are interested, here is a link to the 2025 installation procedure. Note that the actual plugin is way under all the rear seat and rear seat bracketry after removal of the top case and LinQ stuff. The camera kit comes with the harness to plug into that existing harness plug on the...

Are you using Tie down straps to secure a Spyder with e-track in an enclosed trailer?

Well my order just got here. So as soon as I get dry, warmer weather, I'll get a bike to the trailer and see how it fits. I will predict that as someone else posted, I will have to cut some of the rubber blocks from the straps to get them to fit over the tires easier. Will take pics when done...

I updated OTA software/firmware on my 2024 S2S - anyone else seen the back-up camera option?

Yep, I saw that... it fits into a recess under the rear lip on the 2025. You would have to fabricate a mount on the previous models. How hard can that possibly be? A spacer of the right dimensions (maybe 3D printed?) plus 3M tape and SS screws, then run the wires thru the rear case. The real...

And I'm guessing that is why you use the chocks :) (y)

I updated OTA software/firmware on my 2024 S2S - anyone else seen the back-up camera option?

So I finally decided to allow my 2024 S2S Spyder to update itself OTA. I thought the software was the 3.1.0 version already on the bike. But once I connected the WIFI to the bike (which was easy for me) it indicated it needed to update using the 3.1.0 software firmware. There were 2 things of...

Are you using Tie down straps to secure a Spyder with e-track in an enclosed trailer?

Thanks for all who posted in this thread!!! My 3 Erickson e-track tie downs with e-track wheel chocks and 2 straps each will get here Wed !!! As soon as we get a nice sunny warm day next week, I will post up on the install on my 24' v-nose 2025 Spartan dual axle trailer using my 2024 S2S as...

What is your opinion on the plastic oil pump gears?

Re Ford using nylon camshaft gears - in most of their 1970's V6's 2.8 L engines applicable globally, they were nylon teeth but the crank gear was steel. Yes, they broke at unexpected times, but the engines were (are) non interference, so there's no issues with that other than the rather not so...

Are you using Tie down straps to secure a Spyder with e-track in an enclosed trailer?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking... Thanks to all who posted up. My trailer also has 6 D-rings installed in the floor, so I might use those. Can I get a bit of clarification tho, how exactly do you guys run the strap over the rear tire? Front tire? IIRC, one of you posted that they use e-track...

How many States require a Motorcycle Endorsement for Spyders?

Georgia also needs a motorcyle endorsement. Both my wife and I took the MSF online course and then the CanAm 3 wheeler course at a local Can Am dealer. Georgia does have an "autocycle" endorsement too for things like Polaris Slingshots ( which I had at one point ).

Are you using Tie down straps to secure a Spyder with e-track in an enclosed trailer?

If anyone is using Erickson e-track tiedown straps with Erickson e-track wheel chocks, (or Macs, which is similar). I would like to find out the following so I can make an informed purchase: 1. Are you using just the straps or wheel nets? 2. How easy is it to fit the straps if using them (this...

Review: My new Stinger Trailer arrived!

Yep, you will end up spending about $4500-$4600, plus state registration if required and also insurance if required in your State (but why wouldn't you want that?) I have used my Stinger to trailer my 2023 S2S to BajaRon's place in TN from Atlanta area, no issues whatsoever. Well built.

Weird Spyder Behavior this afternoon - sudden power loss & 'bucking'! Any ideas?

I am surprised that with all the issues with batteries (300-350 CCA ) some enterprising person hasn't come up with a battery box/holder and extension cables to put a 500-600 CCA battery in the frunk. Seems to me that would solve all the issues of starting and running power. Then the only other...

Will a 2024 Sea to Sky let me navigate via my Samsung phone?

Note: Google is releasing a new Android Auto update. One of the features is... motorcycle support and directions supposedly. Hmmm... I wonder if that supports dual BT connections to bike and helmet? Should be downloadable in a couple of weeks. Maybe I'll try that on my Samsung Note 20 5G...

Apple CarPlay update - what is the secret to getting it working properly??

Pic of the three pin connector would be nice! Rear view/front view cams typically are three wire and use a power wire plus the video wire(s). If RCA video that might be a 2 wire type. However, they don't necessarily use an RCA plug end. Sometimes there are up to 4 wires in the wire bundle for...
