• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mea Culpa. Of course you're correct. My post #3 is edited to remove the reference to the rear shock.

Looking for info/advice from those who have RT Replacement Shocks...

My trike: 2020 Spyder RT base Miles at change: 24,650 miles New front shocks only: Elka Stage 2, dialed in at Lamonster's prior to shipping for my weight & other supplied info The BajaRon Ultra anti-sway bar was a great starting point to improve the suspension, but the Spyder still sagged...

Share your experiences with Performance shocks for 2023 RT's?

On my 2020 RT, the OEM front shocks seemed to come from a go cart... they were replaced a few thousand miles ago with Stage 2 Elka's and, like the BajaRon anti-sway bar, it made a ton of difference.

Russell Day Long saddles for '20+ RT's - they don't make a driver backrest!

Here's the backrest on my 2020 RT from Utopia. slides in and out as needed and adjustable . Even has a zippered pouch on the back.

Anyone seen this Spyder & Canyon Temporary Belt before?

"can it be fitted on the roadside etc?" I've adjusted the rear drive belt, and removed the rear wheel twice to replace the tire, and would consider replacing the drive belt on the side of a road a miraculous feat. I'd like to watch and learn.

Any Pics of 2020+ RT Daylong or Laam Driver's Seats?

Well done on explaining the rear seat issue Peteoz. jb

Any Pics of 2020+ RT Daylong or Laam Driver's Seats?

For what it's worth... the RDL is about 1/3 the weight of a Corbin, and we all know the seat support piston is junk.

Any Pics of 2020+ RT Daylong or Laam Driver's Seats?

18" at widest point; RDL uses the OEM seat pan to build upon. The heated function works perfectly. I was using a gel pad originally, so asked them to add 1" to the height of the seat. There was no charge for that request. RDL is very helpful via phone call conversations.

What do you carry for Travel Snacks?

In my top case there are about 10 individually-wrapped beef jerky sticks with a rubber band around them. And water...sometime a frozen bottle of water in a cooler and sometimes a 30oz yeti at room temp. No mess, no fuss, and just to get me to lunch.

Anyone else using CompCooler Motorcycle Rider Solo Cooling System?

I have the CompCooler system and have used it for the past 3-4 years. On trips I usually just buy a small bag of ice; break it up on a clean place; dump out the amount that won't fit in the cooler and put bag and ice in the cooler. Not a perfect plan, but it will do on a trip (placing enough ice...

    photos test

Thanks. I took those photos early morning without much lighting, just for the test, so they're pretty crude. The Treehouse is a comfortable log home of modest size. It can't be seen from the street in summer and I can't see another house (but others are nearby).

    photos test

This is a test to check out a method for proper orientation of photos. Photo on right-- taken with iPhone 11, holding phone vertical (portrait mode). Photo in the middle--photo taken with iPhone 11, tilting phone top to the left 90 degrees. Photo on the left--photo taken with same phone...

2013 STS - Is the Signal Switch easily replaced?

No experience on 2013, but on my 2020 RT, the left hand switch module malfunctioned, and it wouldn't switch gears. I finally gave up trying to remedy the problem and bought a new switch assembly (the assembly is not serviceable). $450 U.S. for the part and I installed it myself, which is a pita.

Has Anyone else got a Rear shock oil leak?

+1. The conundrum is whether to clean the bike now to see if it comes back or to wait and let the dealer see it as is..... (I see that was already suggested)

Gulp, I just contracted for a new (old) 2023 RT Limited, now what?

Congrats on your new ride...I hope you love it and get up to East TN and all of NC to test it on hills and some curves. Need pics!

Any Pics of 2020+ RT Daylong or Laam Driver's Seats?

My 5th RDL: vinyl all over. Note that the RDL makes it harder to remove the rear seat due to it being wider.

Anybody go for a Ride Today? Post about your ride (with pics?)

With a break in the 95 degree F plus 85% humidity, I followed the Spyder's nose up to the highest point in Alabama, Mt Cheaha. Riding south along Highway 281 is a favorite ride, and at one Scenic viewing place, the Spyder nosed up to a 1942 Studebaker Commander for a chat. The owner of the car...

Any helpful tips for installing a Lamonster Belt damper on a 2022 RT?

Very interesting......OP asked if anyone had TIPS ON THE INSTALL of a belt damper, & the thread was hijacked into an argument over semantics, but no helpful tips. (hmmm, looks like I did it too...)
