• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Thats because they did not know what the cause was and just were throwing parts at the Spyder. Unless you were have ignition switch problems there was most likely nothing wrong with your original switch. The antenna is mounted on the ignition switch and runs down to the Dess module . So...

    You don't need an ignition switch; the antenna goes around the switch at the top, so a switch would be a waste of money.

    If the battery is toast probably will not start even with a jump. You can hook up a jump pack to at least release the brake. Then push it into the garage.

    On my RT , you have to remove the cover on the switch on the top . Basically twists off. Mine was tight to get off. The antenna is mounted to the ignition switch on the top and wire runs down to the Dess module. You have to remove the Frunk to get to the DESS module (My Preference) I removed...

    10 volts under load and probably drops more. Change the battery as suggested. Batteries Plus has Spyder Batteries too. In fact my battery is in its 9th season. Still starts up. May pop a new one in soon myself.

    Looks like the frunk door at the bottom. Covers the battery. Should have two screws to hold it in place. The velcro is for the frunk liner to hold it. Looks like you figured it out..
